Then visions flashed inside my head.
I saw the waterfalls of this world,
and then another, as the story unfurled.
Large ones, small ones, glistening bright.
Tumbling down droplets of beauty and might.
Wondrous waterfalls spoke to me --
they told a tale from my history.
Of long ago and far away,
when priests and laws did me betray.
'Twas then for loved ones sake did I
climb to the top, prepared to die.
The sacrifice was sweet, I see,
for as I fell, we all were free.
The notes were silenced of my song
'til I return to right a wrong.
My fears will dissipate, and then
I'll sing my heartsong once again.
The tones so clear and pure and true
will spark my Joy and Power anew.
Rememb'ring, I walk through the door ---
Love reigns within my heart once more
