LOVELY DAY

 

I woke up in the morning

The sun was bright

The dew drops begin to drip

A gentle breeze blew

The flower smiled at the sun

A city woke up to life

And how busy the people grew

A tired night went away

With all its darkness and fear

To rest for a while

And make way for the lovely day.
