Each performance is not to exceed the three-minute time limit. Any performer exceeding the three-minute time limit will automatically be disqualified from the contest. The performed piece must be the original work of the performer. All submissions should be typed and double-spaced on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.

 

Three judges will score each performance on a 1-5 pointing scale. Performers will be judged on content, dramatics, projection and overall performance.

 

1st place $300 in cash and prizes
2nd place $200 in cash and prizes
3rd place $100 in cash and prizes

All performers receive a certificate of performance
