It all started in the days of the early Crusades. At this time, the Eye was known by her true name, Beecher Plunket. She was a lowly nun in a monastary and all she wanted was power!
So, she approached the Pope with an idea. Her plan was simple: She was going to ally herself with the Pope and take over, deposing him at the end. Oh, but all did not go as planned. No, no, no. The Pope quickly saw through her treachery and threw her into the dungeons underneath the Vatican! Such was his fury. Even so, she was able to escape her cell. And from there, she roamed through the catacombs until she stumbled onto the Omnilens's hiding place.
Beecher stole the Omnilens, and using its power, escaped into the Future! Now, she works under the library, slowly gaining power. She has organized a mysterious new cult. It is very odd in that not many know of it's inner workings and plans.
There is an interesting fact about The Eye. Sometime ago, before she started her devious cult, the Omnilens was chipped. The part that was chipped off was small, almost microscopic. The Eye was able to place this piece into her eye, thus gaining all its wonder! She was forever transformed into the being she is now. It is unavoidable, she sees all!
