It is said that by spreading their will through most of Europe, the Templar came across the deal of a lifetime in which they acquired a mysterious "golden cup" that was said to be worth "the whole world." This delightful accessory was later revealed to be nothing other than the Holy Grail itself! The Knights were astonished by their fortune and, to keep secret the essence of life that is the grail, they hid the Holy Grail in an unknown location in in Scotland.
The Order met with a rather untimely demise at the hands of the Pope during the rise of the Church in the Middle Ages. After the failed Crusades and his learning of their possible posession of the Cup of Christ, the Pope launched a series of attacks against the Knights of Templar which ultimately destroyed all trace of them and leaving the Pope most dissatisfied.
