| In one story, it is told that a man known as Joseph of Arimathea received permission from Pontius Pilate to take the body of Christ to his own tomb for burial. In this series of eents, Joseph of Arimathea was said to have also somehow acquired the sacred cup that Jesus touched to his lips at the last supper! Joseph of Armathea is said to have gathered the blood of the fallen Christ in that same chalice. Joseph of Arimathea later sailed to Briton aboard a secret ship, custodian of the Sacred Chalace! It remained in his possesion until after he died whereafter it was handed down to the succeeding generations of his own family. Some still to this day believe that the Holy Grail is plunged deep in Chalice Well in Glastonbury, England! |
