James Richard Doss, son of John Hamlet Doss, born Oct. 13, 1892 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma, and died Dec. 13, 1982. His wife of 67 years, Josephine Simmons, daughter of Sashuel T. Simmons, met in the Indian Territory, now Oklahoma in 1913 and married 1915 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

They had 5 children : Jim Julius Doss, Lotus Ounita (Cook) Doss, Glenn Curtis Doss, Ronald Doss and Clifford Richard Doss.

They had 15 Grandchildren,: Deana (Putnam) Cook,  Glenda (Hale) Doss, Shirley (Villa) Doss, Dick Doss, Gerry Ann (Locke) Doss, Cheryl (Feese) Doss, Joella (Jones) Doss, Donnie Doss, Ronnie Doss, Sharon (Robinson) Doss,  Larry Doss, Brenda (Farris) Doss, Joyce (Potter) Doss, Norman Doss and Robert Doss.

They had 17+ Great Grandchildren;    Joyce Elaine Doss, Norman Steven Doss, Robert Wayne, Doss, Robyn Doss, Joey Doss, Stacey Locke, Shelley Locke, Steve Locke, Albert Glenn Feese, Amber Lyn Feese, Jody Lynne Jones, Shannon Dawn Jones, Curtis Doss, Jammie Doss, Janell Robinson, Neil Robinson, Jill Robinson

And I can't keep track of the Great, Great Grandchildren.

I can tell you, that until Grandpa and Grandma pass over, their home was field with love and family.
