| Greetings! As a plus size Christian woman who desires to not only dress modestly, but be feminine and pretty for her spouse, I have found that the simplest solution is sewing my own jumpers. Not only do they look better and last longer, but in the long run they save me lots of money. There are a number of times when my dear husband took me to the mall and said buy a new dress. Much to our dismay, they were too small, ugly, of poor quality and expensive. On the few occasions that the big "W" would have something in my size, it was ugly or gawdy, and of poor workmanship. As difficult as it is to accept being pleasantly plump, shopping for clothes was a horrible experience I dreaded. Often I was forced to purchase something I didn't particulary like or want simply because it fit! So after years of putting my sewing on hold, I have fallen in love with sewing anew. As I sew each seam I am grateful for all those along the way who taught me how. Without them I 'd be, well, less clothed :) than I am now. To all my teachers, starting with my precious Mom, I offer you heartfelt "Thank You". If I had a hard time finding pretty dresses and jumpers, other ladies in my size/shape category probably do too. After thinking and praying about this, I believe the LORD is leading us to begin a sewing business. 4 different styles- Gathered empire waist, straight jumper (no slit), drop waist-good for the nursing mom because the armholes are long, and the overall style jumper. In addition to these we offer One PLUS SIZE MATERNITY JUMPER. #1--Jumpers sewn in standard colors/fabric: Corduroy, denim etc These will be higher in price bcz the fabric is more costly. #2--Jumpers with print bodice-solid color skirt or solid colored bodice and printed skirt. #3 Jumpers in either all printed or solid colors #4--Jumpers in custom prints/fabric of buyers choosing. This can be done 2 ways, you can purchase all the fabric, buttons, thread, lining etc and send it with your pattern or You can send me a swatch from Walmart and I can buy it all locally. This would save YOU on postage. All seams are double stitched, and zig-zagged or serged to prevent fraying . Additional Options: pockets-side seam or front, lined skirt (all jumper bodices are lined) eliminates the need for a slip, matching hair scrunchy. We are willing to work with you if you are on a tight budget, a lay-away type of plan. You could pay a little each week or so, paying for the jumper(s) within 2 months. Orders will be sent only AFTER they are paid for in full unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. Interested parties should email me. Thank You for your time. Mrs. Bob |
