The above pictures is of the "Disabilities Game". In this game, each member of a group draws a piece of paper which tells them what their disability is. One person in each group is "normal" and that person is responsibly for getting them from one side of the room to the other. The problem....is that the room is actually a lava pit..and only the couch cushions are safe to walk upon. So you not only have to get that person across, but you have to move these 2 cushions at the same time! Disabilities ranged from being blind or deaf (but no sign language), to a complete parapalegic. Some folks could only crawl, while others had no arms at all.
Another game we played was Telephone Charades. In this game, half the group leaves the room...we sent them outside. The other half things of a story, or scenario. Then, one person from outside comes in, and we explain the story to them. The rest of the game is basically the game telephone, except instead of speaking, you have to act! When the last person comes in, they must watch and guess what is going on. If they don't get it, the first person may re-act it and they can guess again.

In the above picture, Danny had to play 2 people, an American, and an Asian. He was the first person, and he did it so well, we made him do it again at the end...except we asked Sherra to join him, because her acting was hilarious as well. As you notice, the characters eventually wound up fighting...but Sherra is driving so they had a car crash. Danny wound up dying...and Sherra danced on his body. Yes, it is a bad, bad thing for a Christian retreat....but it was funny!
