| Here it is...my graduation from college...I graduated on May 19, 2002 in the Greensboro Coliseum. Here are the few pictures I do have of it...complements of Kelley Jennings and her fantastic picture-taking ability! |

| Here's the Dean of the School of Music, Dr. Deal, calling out the various majors of music so we can stand and be recognized...we became a bit concerned for a moment when the audience started to boo when we stood...but it turned out they were upset cause one of the stuffy older folks took away the beach ball the grads were playing with. |
| Graduation woulod be nothing without the turning of the tassel...to the left is the person asking us to turn out tassel. Below are the music majors (I'm on the back row...see me?) turning them. |
| And during the recessional, everyone was patient for their turn to leave while the band played...except the music majors who did the traditional music major thing...and turned around and watched the band play. My mother thought this was quite funny since (as you can see) we are the ONLY ones turned around backwards. Folks on the back row with me are (left to right) Jennifer Hance, Holly Brazel, Stephen Cherry, yours truly, Kevin, and some guys I don't really know. :) |
| As I was searching outside for my family, I spotted Jay and Kel! It meant alot that they came to my graduation. They were only able to come to the big morning service, but I'm greatful they came to celebrate with me. |
| Awh...look...it's me and Jay...isn't he a cutie? Sadly, I've yet to manage to steal him away from kelley, although I keep trying *wink, wink* |
| Hopefully mom and I will get out film developed and I'll get pictures scanned so there will be more pics of the graduation..including the afternoon ceremonies and other folks who came! |
