| POWER
LONDON IN TWO...ah
make that ONE DAY! |
| JULY 8 :
After
a quick flight from Ireland (which I was REALLY sad leaving Ireland),
an
hour train ride, transfer, half hour train ride, and a quick walk, I
arrived
at Freya's aunt's and uncle's house. Let me tell you, English homes may
be narrow, but they are really super cute. By this point I was happy to
see what there was in England. Instead of heading downtown as it was
about
14ish, we went to the local sandwich shop and watched Big Brother. We
even
broke out Dance Dance Revolution Max! Yes!! I love that game, even
though
Freya could easily win every day and twice on Sundays playing against
me.
We met up with her uncle at a small corner restaurant where I had
sausages
and mash. Yum! What a relaxed night, but I was content seeing as we had
Power London touring tomorrow! |

better be able
to do a mean push up to get up there.

| JULY 9 :
With a start,
we got moving and went downtown. I really enjoy the underground. It is
very convenient. We saw Big Ben, Westminster Abby...where there was
some
big wedding going on, London Bridge, the Palace, fountains, several
major
parks, Picadilly Circus, market shopping, and even had time to smash in
a Shakespeare play all by evening. We did take a double decker bus
around
town so I could at least glance at the sights. The play was very
funny and combined all of Shakespeare's works into 97 minutes.
Unfortunately
they did not allow pictures, so I have none of it. |

| JULY 10 PM :
My plane leaves at 13, so I head out at 10. I grab the bus and the
underground.
I get settled, and the plane leaves a tad late, but that's okay. I'm
not
in a big hurry as my trip has finally concluded. |
