September 29 @ The Galaxy

Hey! I just wanted to tell you that the show on Sept. 29 @ The Galaxy
Theater
in Santa Ana was the coolest. After the show (which also had awesome
performances by Neve and Other Star People) me and my friend stuck
around to
try to meet Joydrop. It was really cool cuz during the performance Tara
waved
to us and needless to say, that girl has got some really good stage
performance. Anyway, we ended up talking to some members from Other
Star
People then we worked our way up to Joydrop. We saw Tom McKay first so
we
asked for an autograph. After he signed my friend's poster of them, I
was
next and when he asked for my name I just tryed to spell it out because
my
name's persian and well, not common(my friend is persian too but she
uses an
american name). So, he started talking to us about how he was reading a
book
on the historic background of Iran (our country) and he said he was
doing it
because he has heard so many stories about it that he just wanted to
find out
more about the truth, not what people say about it.He was really sweet
too.
Oh yeah, did I mention that he tryed to hit us with his bass guitar in
the
stomach during the performance? Then my friend got a hold of the
drummer (i
forgot his name, they all start with T!) and he wrote a song lyric of a
song
from Barry Manilow that had to do with her name. After that, we finally
met
Tara who seemed like she wanted to meet her fans but was just really
tired. I
told her how she reminded me of Shirley Manson from Garbage and then my

friend gave her a poster to sign and asked her to sign it for our
friend. We
explained that it was our friend who first told us about Joydrop, so on
her
poster she wrote-Thanks for spreading the word. It was really awesome
and I
recommend everybody to go see Joydrop in concert cuz they rock! Bye!
