Welcome to the download section. Here some useful and some Hmmm... not so useful programs written by me are hosted here for FREE download. All the programs will be downloaded as .ZIP  files (except explicitly notified otherwise). You need Winzip or similar programs to open them.

  In some of my wild dreams I used to see that gunmen have attacked our college. And of course I was there to save the college. The idea thus started. This program is a Game written in VB. The sounds are mostly collected from different games. In this Game, some Gunmen have attacked our college. You are entitled to save our college by killing those miscreants. You can not deny� as the game says, �When everyone's hope is focused upon you, choosing the escape way is not that easy. A seduction of heroism compels you to grab the gun and shoot the miscreants.� The program uses some music tracks that may be copyrighted by others.   What started as just a little testing platform for the JDBC-ODBC data connectivity class RunDB, has evolved as a front end for testing SQL queries. This tool can be used as a learning platform for SQL.

  New features in calzZ v10_alpha:
  1. Support for finding real roots of polynomials. This feature is still not very stable. And can not handle complex roots.
  2. Infinite and Undefined values are now handled nore elegantly
  3. Support for unary + and -.

  Please note that (only) the findroot section is a bit unstable. You can still download the older version from the link below.
  
  New features in calcZ v9:
  1. Highly increased precision (15 places after decimal) in output
  
  2. Internally some fuctions are replaced with Library routines
  
  3. You can now use the answer of your last expression in your next expression. Just  use 'a' or 'A' where you want to use. e.g. > p / 4 [enter] > s (a) [enter] will give 0.707106665647094 (=s(p/4)) NOTE: This feature is not available in command line mode
  
  4. Get rid of remembering s for sin, t for tan etc. You can now use words like 'sin', 'cos', 'tan' etc within the expression. Of couse the older form also can be used (i.e. you can still use s, c, t etc) e.g. > sin (pi / 2) will give 1.000000000000000 (=s(p/2))
  
  5. New feature binery to decimal conversion & vice versa

  • Takes the whole expression at a time.
  • Also traps specifically if you had any mistake while typing the expression.
  • Supports normal integer and floating point addition, subtraction, multiplication, exponiation.
  • Computes sine, cosine, tangent, square root, logarithm and more.
  • Bundles with great help and support system.
  • Can be used in command-line or as a stand alone console application. (new)
  • Removed! Installation wizard as there are very few files involved and no change in system is requirred. This is also cut short download file size to 35KB fro 98 KB. If you liked the version installation wizard please download the older version.

  This is the first game created by me. This DOS based Text Mode strategy game has an exciting game play. It has 10 difficulty level. You can even customize the difficulty! (this is like playing in level 2.25). This game has integrated sound (Played in PC Speaker) which can be toggled ON and OFF. Comes with an easy to understand help system.

• Embed - Extract v1 released (for Windows & Linux )
  
  
  With this program you can simply embed small messages into some special types of files like MPEG videos without changing the file size or readability. This is possible as some types of file allows some bits to be manipulated without causing file corruption.
         This can be very useful in hiding small messages within a file. After successful embedding of the message, the file seems as before. Your message gets completely invisible. This can also be used in leaving copyright informations in a video.
        The program comes as a set of two command-line executables 'embed' and 'extract' and does as the name suggests. This is available for Windows and Linux.
