COMING HOME
I had to get a picture of me and "the girls" at the Larkspur Landing Hotel. They treated us with such grace, curtesy and affection.  I have never, never enjoyed a stay anywhere like this.  The lady above on the left is Suzy...she gave us a big hug when we got there and another when we left.  Everyone was personality plus!
Well, it is Monday, June 19th...one week since surgery and time to get the drain tube out and a check-up.

On the left, I got John a chair to wait in the hall until the office opened.  For final exams, Dr. Billy uses Dr. Waldrup's office that is connected to the Roseville Sutter Medical Center, where the surgery was.

I was so interested in watching  the tube come out (yes, it stung a bit and felt mostly "weird"), that I forgot to take a picture.  I did get the picture on the right of Dr. Billy listening to John's insides.  John just loves this picture.
LOL

We drove the five hours home in two shots...stopping at his folks along the way for a short visit.

John said the drive was not bad at all.  He is feeling so great.  The pain is about a 2 or less.
