Born in Detroit, Michigan, Joyce Petrak was first
graduated from the University of Detroit in journalism and English. A
profesional student, she was later certified as a high school teacher. For
about 10 years, in Michigan and California, she was a photo-journalist, editor
and teacher. Rarely is she doing just one thing. Now living south of
Knoxville, Tennessee, she is married to Robert, has four adult children and
three grandchildren.

Since a young age Joyce had serious health problems . . .
mostly with allergies, chronic bronchitis and upper respiratory problems.
Searching for her own health, she was lead into various natural healing methods.
As she improved, she began to search for reasons why she had to have been sick
for over 20 years. Not liking what she discovered, and in typical Vervain
fashion, she decided to change her profession so she could help others.
She graduated from the Michigan Schol of Naturopathy in 1978 as an
Iridologist and Naturopathic Nutritional Consultant. In addition to seeing
clients, she taught natural health classes and wrote natural living articles for
local publications.
Seeing that "the ills of the body come from the ills
of the mind," she began to use Bach Flower Remedies in 1980. Studies led her
deeper into the mind and in February 1991 she received a doctorate in Clinical
Hypnotherapy. The same year, the first edition of her "Bach Flower Remedies" book was published.
While she incorporates all she has learned, and works with many facets
of mental, physical and spiritual health, she specializes in healing the child
within and spirit release therapy. After seeing over 1000 clients, she wrote
"Angels, Guides & Other Spirits," about
incredible events from the unseen world around us as told by a Spirit Release
Therapist. |
