LOW KI vs. The AMAZING RED

However, he senses that Ki has ducked down and flings himself over the ropes (doing a somersault), but instead of flying out, lands on the apron, much like Rey Mysterio Jr. does so often. Ki acts as if he thinks he's dodged Red's attack, but when he turns around, Red nails an apron-dive huracanrana suicida. Ki staggers back up to his feet and, as the fans chant, "T-N-A," is nailed with two punches, and then is tossed back into the ring by Red, who then rolls in himself. With Ki on one knee, Red forearms his back. Ki stands back up and is nailed with two punches. He ends up in the corner, and Red attempts to whip him into the opposite ringpost, but he reverses it. Red smashes into the post. Ki charges him, but Red ducks out of the way and Ki himself smashes into the post, sending him bouncing back about a foot. Red again dropkicks him, sending him smashing into the buckle again. Ki goes down and Red covers. 2.

As Ki gets back up, Red stomps on his back. Ki is up and receives a punch before Red again tries to corner whip him. Reversal. Red smashes into the opposite post. Ki charges, but Red gets a foot up into his face. Red steps up onto the middle buckle and, once Ki recovers from the boot and turns around, leaps off and plants Ki down onto his back. Mike Tenay called what Red did a (diving) "neckbreaker", and it very well could've been, but it also may've been a bulldog lariat. It was hard to tell. Either way, though, it was a nice move. Red covers. 2. Red waits for Ki to get back up before charging him and leaping up for an attempted huracanrana. Ki, though, catches him and tosses him off (causing Red to do a backflip). Red lands on his knees, but quickly stands up, only to be nailed with a rolling single-leg koppu kick. This kick sends Red tumbling backwards halfway across the ring, causing him to get caught in the bottom rope.

Ki lifts Red up, bodyslams him, bounces off of the ropes, and drops an elbow. Cover. 2. Tenay mentions that Ki's name comes from a Blackstreet song called, "No Diggity'." Ki lifts Red back up and, while standing in front of him, rakes his fingers across Red's back. Red drops down to the mat, but Ki lifts him back up and applies a 3/4 facelock bulldog headlock (diamond cutter/stunner) submission hold. After about five seconds, Red punches him in the gut twice, and about 10 seconds after the hold was first applied, Ki tries a snapmare-like move. Red lands on his feet and after a brief moment where both men just stare at eachother, unsure of what to do next, ducks Ki's running lariat. Ki, though, continues his run, and nails a slingshot forearm smash. Cover. 2.

Ki lifts Red up, applies a double underhook front facelock, and takes him over with a double underhook facelock overhead suplex. Instead of releasing the hold, Ki holds on, rolls backwards, and transitions into The Dragonwing submission. Ki wrenches back, and after about 15 seconds, releases the hold and covers. 2. Ki lifts Red up and delivers an uppercut, sending Red stumbling backwards into the corner. Ki uses two chops, and then attempts to whip Red into the opposite corner. Red, though, holds onto Ki and charges back toward him. Ki ducks down and side back body drops Red. Red flies over the ring ropes, but lands on the apron. Ki thinks that he's sent Red flying out of the ring and out to ringside, so when he turns around, he's surprised by a punch (or a slap; it's hard to see). Ki is sent stumbling down to the mat. Red springboards up to the top turnbuckle so that he's facing away from the ring, but before he can fly off, Ki recovers, turns around, and delivers a kick to Red, causing him to become crotched on the top buckle.

Ki climbs up into a standing position on the top buckle. He applies an inverted facelock, secures both of his (and Red's) legs to the ringpost, and then, along with Red, falls backwards into a tree of woe position; Ki has what he calls, "The Hanging Dragon." He holds the submission in place for about six seconds before releasing it. Both men tumble backwards to the mat and, as the fans chant, "Low Ki," Ki covers. 2. Ki lifts Red up and, using his right hand, grasps Red's left hand and, at the same time, (while still holding on) delivers three knee lifts, and then uses his left hand to grab Red's right. So, Ki now has a hold of both of Red's hands (Anotherwards, he has a Greco-Roman knuckle tieup applied.), and he backs Red into the corner. As he does this, he squeezes Red's hands and delivers four shoulderblocks to Red's face (They may've been headbutts to Red's shoulder, actually; it was hard to tell.). Both men are now in the corner. Red pushes his back against the ringpost and, at the same time, places his feet on Ki's shoulders. He kicks Ki's head twice, allowing him to escape from his foe's grasp.

Red grabs both of Ki's hands so that another Greco-Roman knuckle/(inverted Russian) legsweep combo is applied. Ki falls backward (Red falls forward). They move into a sequence where Ki is holding Red (who is facing Ki) up about a half foot high in the air by using his feet to push against Red's hips. This causes Red to be suspended in the air. Ki's shoulders are down, so the ref counts. 2 - For a short moment, Red drops down slightly so that his feet are touching the mat, causing Ki's shoulders to come slightly off of the mat. Red quickly pushes back down, and Ki pushes upward with his feet, causing Red to again be suspended. Ki's shoulders are down. 2 - Ki kicks Red off, sending him slamming into the nearby ringpost. Red quickly recovers and runs toward Ki. Red tries three kicks, but Ki, down on one knee, blocks the first two, and then catches Red's third kick. Red immediately tries a low spinning heelkick, but Ki ducks down. He still has a hold on Red's right leg. Both men are down on their knees. and Red tries another snap kick, but Ki again ducks. Ki releases Red's right leg.

WINNER: Low Ki via pinfall.
