EAST COAST INDY WRESTLERS IN JAPAN NEWS
- On 8/19 (Tuesday), the second half of the AJPW Summer Action Series 2003 Tour began and among the participants on the tour are Shawn (Hotstuff) Hernandez, Misterio Red (The Amazing Red/Fuego Guerrero/Airwalk Spriggan), Extreme Blade (Elix Skipper), "Gladiator" Mike Awesome, Gigantes (Malice/SNUFF/The Wall), and Alan Funk (Kwee-Wee/Bruce). working on an upcoming ZERO-ONE tour, scroll up to the EAST COAST
INDY WRESTLERS IN JAPAN NEWS topic.
- The Messiah and Nick Berk wrestle on the 9/6 PCW Zero Tolerance
in Altadena, CA. The Messiah wrestles a dream match against
former-XPW star "The Rock Superstar" Kaos. B-Boy and
Nick Berk were scheduled to wrestle one-on-one, but that match
has been postponed due to flight problems for B-Boy. A suitable
replacement for Berk's oppoennt will be announced soon. A source
tells me that Kaos and Messiah supposedly aren't on the same page
with each other. Kaos was initially against having to wrestle
Messiah, but he decided to go through with it after finding out
that PCW had already begun promoting the match as early as a
month ago.

- On the 9/13 CZW "Redefined"; show at Viking Hall, a

surgery soon. Those participating in the tournament are Adam
Flash, Danny "Mafia" Maff, Ruckus, Trent Acid, Johnny
Kashmere, Tony Mamaluke, Sonjay Dutt, Jimmy Rave, Nick Berk, Nick
Gage, Nate Hatred, and All Japan star KENDO KaSHIN. B-Boy was
scheduled to compete in the tournament, but a family emergency
will cause him to miss the show, as he will be in the
Phillipines. KaShin took his place. The final round of the
tournament will be a triple-threat 30-minute Ironman Match. Also
on the show, Zandig will wrestle The Messiah in a grudge match
and Deranged will wrestle Derek Frazier. Pleaes note that the
Zandig/Messiah match will not be taped and can only be seen live
at Viking Hall. The bout will not be sanctioned by the
Philadelphia Athletic Commission and is rumored to feature the
use of previously-banned barbed-wire and light tubes as weapons.

2003. Zandig will address the media and foreign press, lead

and discuss future plans in Europe."
- CZW is mentioned in the Dover Newszapp article (found at http://www.newszap.com/display/inn_dover/news02.txt)

- Bryan "American Dragon" Dannielson is rumored to
return to ROH this Fall.
- A statement by Low-Ki has been postedd on the ROHWrestling.com
Message Forum:
"An unfortunate series of incidents
happened at last Saturday Night's ROH show in Fairfield,
Connecticut, a series of incidents for which I owe an apology. I
was scheduled to work the last match of the night with my best
friend Dan Maff.
We both like to work a strong style, especially for the demanding
ROH audience. For many reasons, on Saturday Night, everyone in
ROH was determined to put on a solid show. One of those reasons
was because the crowd was less than expected, and we all wanted
to make a great impression in this new market for ROH, so the
next time we came back everyone in attendance would bring a
friend to see this awesome promotion put on a great show. In the
early stages of this, the last match of the night, I hit Dan Maff
with an errant kick which knocked him for a loop. There was no
way to continue the match. He was out. It was my fault. I have no
excuse for what happened next.
Outside the ring, I hit ROH cameraman Doug Gentry. I was so upset
about what had just happened and was not in full control of my
actions. I was out of line, and without sounding corny, I broke
the code. The code of ROH, the code of this industry, and the
code of this very professional and proud locker room.
I offer no excuses for my actions, as they were inexcusable. I
only offer an apology, and wish there was a way for me to express
just how sorry I am for my unprofessional display. I hope in
future I will have the opportunity to be a better representative
of the company and of this business."
