JB: your official site (http://www.joshprohibition.com) do you run it your self?

Josh– My friend Will built the site for me but I send him all the updates. Thanks for the plug.

JB: On your Official Web site it says your currently putting your self through college. what college are your currently attending?

Josh– I attend Kent State University in Ohio. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually graduate.

JB: As a child did you watch wrestling, if so what got you interested?

Josh– I’ve been really into wrestling my entire life. My cousins really helped increase my interest with their love of the sport and also my uncles were really into it. My uncle sang the national anthem at a few WWF shows at the old Richfield Coliseum. My other uncle would get all the pay per views like Wrestlemania and Summerslam. I counted down the days until those events took place.

JB: growing up who did you idolize?

Josh– When I was very young I idolized Hulk Hogan. I then began to like the work of guys like Ric Flair and a wild man named Cactus Jack. Then in 1996-97 I fell in love with ECW, especially the work of Cactus Jack. He’s my hero and role model. Guys I really look up to now are Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerrero, Kurt Angle, and Rob Van Dam.

JB: what has been your goal as a wrestler?

Josh– I set a few goals when I started wrestling
1) Wrestle at the ECW arena.
2) Wrestle in a foreign country (besides Canada)
3) Get flown somewhere to wrestle.
4) Wrestle on Pay Per View.
5) Get a WWF dark match.
6) Wrestle Chris Hamrick

JB: How long have you been pro?

Josh– I made my pro debut on April 21st, 2001. I’m still very young in this sport and I still have a lot to learn but I’ve been very pleased with my success thus far.

JB: coming from the "other company" how did it feel being in a whole new environment with matt?

Josh– I really enjoyed my first XPW experience. Everyone was very professional and they have acquired and excellent roster. I look forward to working with a lot of guys in XPW. Our first experience was very exciting and I’m looking forward to the next event.

JB: when you were approached to come to XPW what first went threw your mind?

Josh– I was just excited that they knew who I was and that they had interest in me. It kind of shocked me when we had our first conversation.

JB: being your first night in XPW how did you think the crowd would react to you?

Josh– I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought there may be some backlash because of our prior involvement in CZW but by the end of the match it seemed like we had won over some fans. At first there were some sellout chants which I expected but it seemed like far more people were excited to see us so that was nice to see.

JB: After winning on Dec 21 at Merry F'N Xmas and winning the XPW World Tag team titles, how did it feel to debut at the beginning and leave as a champion?

Josh– It was pretty surreal. I never expected to be going home with the belts. I think it just shows the confidence the higherups in XPW have in us and we are going to work our hardest in an attempt not to disappoint them or the XPW fans.

JB: after all the talk/gossip on the internet, how do you think the fans from XPW/CZW both felt?

Josh– I know there is a lot of trash being talked on message boards but in actuality it seems like most fans are pretty understanding of our decision. I’ve probably got 100 emails regarding the situation, 95% have been positive, the other 5% came from retarded 14 year old marks who have yet to work a day in their lives. It also seemed like all the veteran wrestlers I’ve spoken to understand and respect the decision we made.

JB: Becoming the 2nd time Tag Team Champions, what did you think? what going through your mind?

Josh– I’m excited to be a tag team champion. I hope to put on some excellent matches as I defend the titles. There is a lot of people in XPW I would like to feud with for the belts.

JB: Growing up wrestling, being on numerous tapes and magazine, how does this react with you?

Josh– It’s exciting to see your face or read your name. It really hasn’t changed much in my life. I’m still the same punk rocker I was a few years ago. I just have some more interesting stories to tell.

JB: what would you say made you decide to come with XPW?

Josh– I have some very good friends in xpw, some are wrestlers, some work behind the scenes. That was a huge factor. I also feel like xpw has a ton of excellent veteran wrestlers I could learn a ton from so I’m excited about that. Money was also a factor in the decision. XPW takes care of their wrestlers and they repay all the hard work wrestlers put into this sport.

JB: being a young and up and coming star in wrestling, what would you say has been your biggest achievements?

Josh– I would say my biggest achievment thus far would have to be how far I’ve made it in such a short period of time. It’s exciting that a kid from Cleveland can make it as far as I have. Not many wrestlers have come out of the Cleveland area so it’s exciting to be one of them.

JB: Coming from "other company" and performing at there dec 14 show, how did you think every thing would pan out joining XPW?

Josh– I didn’t expect to make too many friends with the decision I made but I was hoping most people who be understanding. I’ll miss CZW and some of the boys in the back but I feel I made the right decision.

JB: what do you see your future in wrestling?

Josh– If my wrestling career ended tomorrow I would be content with what I’ve done. If it ends I’ll have a college degree soon, I’m varsity baseball coach of my old highschool, and I have a nice job at a local baseball school, I’m still very involved in the punk rock music scene so it’s not like I don’t have a ton of stuff to fall back on.

JB: How do you see your self?

Josh– I see myself as an average wrestler with a good attitude and a hunger to improve constantly. I hope to become the best wrestler I can be so when I hang up the boots I won’t have any regrets about not giving it my all.
