Well versed in aerial tactics, ground wrestling, and the extreme, Ikuto Hidaka quite possibly could be the most dangerous Japanese freelancer out there. Using maneuvers like the handspring corner leg lariat and Solarina (arm twist jumping takedown into an inside cradle), Hidaka has made a career out of amazing matches against some of Japan's top junior heavyweights - including Minoru Tanaka.

In his short career, Hidaka has become one of the premiere juniors having already wrestled for many organizations, including: Michinoku Pro Wrestling, BattlArts, and Extreme Championship Wrestling -, including an intense feud with Tiger Mask IV which saw the highly charismatic Hidaka turn heel in his quest for revenge. The newfound heel persona has helped ignite a fire within Hidaka the likes of which had not been seen before by his fellow fighters. Naturally, this new persona helped to generate the most exhilarating rivalry in the BattlArts promotion in 2001 and 2002 with Tiger Mask IV being pushed to his limits by the newly revamped and lightning fast Hidaka.

It is this new attitude that brings Hidaka to MLW where he has asperations of domination and a vision of championship gold. And unlike a good portion of his fellow fighters, Hidaka is a much more lethal adversary simply because very few have been exposed to his endless arsenal of holds and moves. The junior heavyweight division looks to be heating up more than ever before, thanks to the arrival of the "Oriental Anarchist."
