Joy Apple has been singing and playing flute in churches since she was eleven
years old. At twenty, she learned to play the guitar, so that she could
accompany her vocals and lead church congregations in singing. Joy is the music director for Companions on the Journey, a small faith community that meets in Palo Alto, California.
She also provides music for retreats, inspirational speakers, weddings, baptisms, and other
events in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Joy is married with three children -- one in high school and two in college. She teaches music, gymnastics and fitness at several locations in the Bay Area.
