Dear Praying Friend, Thank you for praying for Taiwan: Taiwan is #1 in Manufacturing scanners, keyboards, and local-area-network cards http://www.indiana.edu/~easc/resources/threedragons/rcnt_taiwan.htm #1 in Egovernment http://www.etaiwannews.com/Taiwan/2004/09/17/1095387567.htm But has . . . Protestants: 2.6% (3,609 churches, 7 Christian universities, 14 Christian hospitals) I just returned from Singapore where I was able to preach in two church several times. Since I have had contact with churches in Singapore for 20 years, I am very pleased to see the growth that has taken place during this time. I was especially pleased to see locals leading the churches and now taking an active interest in reaching out to other countries. Some have called Singapore "Antioch in Asia" because of the great amount of missions activity and even greater potential of their churches. Will you pray for China too?
Someone gave me this acronym for CHINA: Please pray for me as I serve in Taiwan and help churches here take more of an interest in missions. In recent years, some churches have taken an interest, but I would like to see more churches involved. March 13 I will preach in a missions conference here. Please pray:
