Do you
feel the wind around you?
It’s blowing all about.
So lets go have some fun today;
Isn’t that what childhood’s all about?
I found some string; In the back of a drawer.
Then on to my ribbon box, I’ve got
ribbons galore.
Now out to the shed, Where we hung
up the kite. It’s covered in brown paper,
So the colors would stay bright.
I’ll tie on new string, And lots of bows
too.
Then run and run, Faster then you.
Oh, the winds coming, It’s hard to hold on.
Can you see, can you see?
Way up in the sky, It’s my beautiful kite
and it’s waving to me.

The Wee Ens At Play
The wee lassies were out one day
As were the ladies who were at play.
They were running about having fun
Enjoying themselves scampering in the sun.
They were playing in the park with a ball
And as one ran to fetch it he had a fall,
But this is what the wee ones do
For they have more energy than me and you.
They enjoy themselves with each passing
day, As they run around in fun and play.
