Part 1 - Scalped

(Discussion Point)

This is to bring a realization of the understanding of "crown" found several places in the Holy Bible. As you know, God uses kings throughout the Old Testament to give examples of how he deals with chosen men of Israel. Very deep...

God's Word always has a two-fold understanding. One is carnal; the other spiritual. God is Spirit...

Spiritual - The crown represents the head and your understanding of God's Word. He can only "crown" you if you are studying and reading His Word for understanding. In Psalm 1 he commands us to read the Word day and night. God cannot speak to you if you are not reading the Holy Bible.

Carnal - The crown is a covering of the head. All kings are to wear a crown. Jesus our Saviour wore a "crown of thorns".

Psalm 132:18 - His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Proverbs 16:31 - The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

Samson, Ezekiel, Solomon and his beloved all wore locks. Samson and Samuel did not cut their hair (although Samson had a set back --- to teach us mine you). Why is this included in the Holy Bible? First and foremost, God is jealous (Exodus 34:14) and to change what he has made is to say he doesn't know what he's doing. When you read the Holy Bible more you will see he is very adamant about this, and gets angry when his majesty is challenged.

So to respect God is to respect how he made us. With curly (wooly) hair.

What does the locks represent? Look at a head of hairlocks. They are pointy and reminds you of....thorns. Put your crown on and walk in truth.
