Today, I take my mom in for her first of two cataract surgeries at 9 a.m. I don't know how long it'll take. The next trip will be two weeks from today. She doesn't want my dad driving her around and I don't blame her one bit. Besides his becoming overly-aggressive and just plain rude behind the wheel, he gets lost too much. He's pushing 86 years of age and I don't know how much longer he'll be able to drive. Living in such a rural area makes public transportation unlikely. It'll be me and my brothers doing the driving soon. Sigh...
