This is the latest piece of news I got from Joe's wife tonight. I can only hope that it will happen sooner than later. It's such an emotional drain to have a child in harm's way. But then, maybe all our children are in harm's way these days no matter where they are. What a world. I'm looking forward to the weekend with our friends from Boise. I love them.

 

"The 'unofficial' word is that Joe may return sometime before the end of the month.  I got an email from him stating that they are waiting for flights home.   So when they arrive.....we're not sure.  It depends on how many stops they have to make.   How many times the plane has to stop for maintenance issues.  Don't worry.....flying Air Force is a hurry up and wait thing.  Something Joe is very used to!  And most military families!"
