Back On the Shelf
This is the space where I unload whatever thoughts pass through my head. It may or may not be often that I post.
What a day
As of last night, Jen and I were paired up with two girls we were looking forward to playing with today. They didn't show up today so we wound up playing with a sixsome. Six balls on a green at one time...give me a break. Shit, it didn't matter where you walked, you were walking on someone's damned line. Two of the girls are college golfers and the daughters of Donny Baldwin. He's the basketball coach for Idaho Falls High School and a former college teammate  of John Stockton (my birthday boy.) On top of having six players in the group, Donny, his wife and father were there following their kids around and talking to them about their games. NINE people hanging around while we're trying to play a tournament. Holy shit. Normally, there are four people in a group. I felt like I was in Relief Society today. It wasn't a piece of heaven. I'll get over it tomorrow playing with Richard and Greg. Why do I play golf tournaments? I'm asking myself that question now. I think I'm done with tournaments.
