I am enjoying living alone during the week. It's a nice change. Although we have a great life together, it's nice having some time apart while he's out of town. After the last year's events, it's good for me to have some time to myself. I may sound selfish. I'm not. I haven't been. He's actually happy to be in a different place, too. I am simply enjoying being alone with myself. I'll spend some time with him in Alpine but it won't be all the time. I bought a DVD player for my bedroom so I can enjoy my Netflix movies in bed. The hot tub is nice also.

I played golf today with Greg. It was a perfect golf day. Our heat wave has moved east. I play a two-lady bestball tomorrow at Sage Lakes in Idaho Falls with Jen Harris. She's a friend of my nephew and a great girl. She asked me to play with her a couple of weeks ago. We'll have a good time.

It's my son's 31st birthday Monday. Since he has no address "over there," I can't send him anything but an e-mail that I hope he'll see sometime. Knowing he is in harm's way is hard but yet, knowing that he is happily doing what he is trained for and wants to do makes it easier to handle. Shit...

Sunday morning, we're driving to Star Valley, WY. We'll play golf with Larry and Gayle. I'm playing their ladies' invitational on Monday. I'll probably stay with R in Alpine Monday night and come home Tuesday. My mom wants to go to the opera festival in Logan, UT next week. I think we'll go Wednesday and Thursday. We haven't gone for a couple of years since my daughter moved away after her divorce. My mom really loves the operas in Logan. I need to take her there again. She needs to get away from my dad for awhile.

I'm off to snuggle myself in my big bed now. It's an early tee time tomorrow. Mmmm.........
