In Idaho and Utah, a big business venture was editing rental movies for sex, language and violence. They rented them as “Clean Flix.” There were three stores in this area. Recently, the courts ruled that these businesses are in violation of copyright laws. I totally agree with the ruling. To me, it’s a form of plagiarism. If the producers and writers wanted certain content edited out, they would have done it before they released the movies. “Clean Flix” fits right into the self-righteous culture that it served. It’s the controlling mentality that “we don’t want an off button on OUR television, we want one on YOURS.” A certain SLC car dealer (who refused to show "Brokeback Mountain" at his theaters) and a certain Idaho Falls businessman were probably partners in the "Flix" venture.They are both homophobes with too much money and influence. I really think they both have latent homosexual tendencies. I haven’t heard any of their ads on the radio lately. Hmmm…
