Back On the Shelf
This is the space where I unload whatever thoughts pass through my head. It may or may not be often that I post.

Last Saturday was another "bonus" golf day. My team, Marva, Roy, Ron and I , won first place. We had a great time, as usual. What a bunch of nuts I hang out with at Jefferson Hills.

This is my last week for being on my own all week. R is finishing the Jackson project. It will be a nice change to live together again. He'll be off for the winter at Thanksgiving. We've learned how to live together and care for one another better than we ever have. It'll be a good winter.

They've been plowing the fields around the house. A flock of Canadian Geese have been hanging around. They are such pretty birds. I can't imagine people shooting at them.

The Idaho Falls Salvation Army was robbed again last night for the fourth time since 9/15. It is hard for me to fathom such behavior. I've taken them about every spare item I had in my house. Acts such as that make me shake my head.

My dear friend's daughter, Jennifer, called me early this morning and asked me to go visit her mom. Ida Mae's mom died yesterday. She was with her when she passed and was having a hard time dealing with it. We had a good visit this afternoon. I think she felt better. I hope so.

A year ago today, I was being deposed by my scumbag nephew and his attorney. I can't express how happy I am to have all that behind me.

Last night, I watched the Idaho gubernatorial candidates' debate. Otter just simply bugs me on every level. Brady is the man. I hope people show up at the polls for him. We need to bring back the two-party system in Idaho.

Elk farms have been in the news a lot lately. I wish Idaho would ban them. It's not likely to happen though. The Idaho Senate Republican candidate from this district owns one.  I'm proud that the Wyoming and Montana governors are against these "canned hunt" operations. To me, it's just sick and wrong for people to pay big bucks to go shoot an animal in a pen.

We've had goreous sunsets this fall.  On clear mornings, I can see the snow-capped mountains to the west from my patio. It's been a beautiful fall.

Steph e-mailed me a bunch of pics of the trip she and Joe took to California. They had a great time. It is so comforting to know that he is with his wife and out of the hell hole that's taken over 100 Americans' lives this month. When will we get a grip over there? Something has got to change very soon. I hurt for the families that still have loved ones over there. I can't imagine living with that degree of angst each day.

Patsy's battle with her ex is still dragging on. It's like a bad rash that you can't scratch.
