The Netflix thing is fun. "The Break-Up" was amusing and that's all I can say about it. Vince Vaughn is talented. He was better in "Wedding Crashers" and at his best in "Clay Pigeons."
This week, I watched a weird movie from a producer in India called "Fire." It's about two sisters-in-law who fall for each other. That ain't gonna happen in my life. "Transamerica" was a strange one as well. I liked them but I'm sure no one else I know would.
"Walk the Line" was better than I had expected. Reese Witherspoon earned the hype she got over her role as June Carter. I was moved by the scenes when she and Joaquin sang "Time's A Wastin" and Dylan's "It Ain't Me, Babe.' "
I'm looking forward to "A Prairie Home Companion" in the hot tub Saturday night. R said he'd never heard of it. He has no idea about Garrison Keillor or Lake Wobegone. I used to listen to it years ago on the radio when I was home alone. What different lives we've lived while living in the same house.
Back to the World Series for now. Night all.
