Valerie was on my mind today. Over the weekend, I talked to some people about her.  They asked about her and how I was doing with all that had to do with her and losing her. I miss her. Today, Kent and I talked about how much we miss our lunches and visits with her. My only sister and I had such great visits and cared so much for each other. It was a dumb thing to do tonight before I went to bed but, I listened to Sarah McLachlan's song "Angel" that we played at Val's funeral.  The lyrics mean even more now to me than they did before. This phrase took on a deeper meaning to me after all that ensued.  "there's vultures and thieves at your back and the storm keeps on twisting..." Oh, she had vultures and thieves in her life for sure. They killed her. Word is that the "vultures" are fighting amongst themselves. I can only hope they eat each other alive. They (her ex and his spawn) only deserve the worst of everything. Here are the lyrics that mean so much to me.
