Copper Tilson (Dennis Quaid) and his wife Leah (Sharon Stone) decides that they have had too much of the busy city life and that it is high time they move into some place quieter. So they, with their kids move into the shambles of Cold Creek Manor which the couple would only be glad to renovate. But strange incidents crop up and that is when they decide to find out more about who was living here before. Soon they need not look any further, when the previous owner himself shows up wanting his home back - badly!
Directed by the high profile Mike Figgis of Leaving Las Vegas fame, the film promises to be one spine chilling thriller with some good quality acting thanks to the talented cast assembled. It would also be wonderful to see Sharon Stone back in the thick of things as she seemed to have been away from the limelight for quite some time. Dennis Quaid on the other hand seems to be still going strong coming up with a winner every now and then, especially when you least expect him to. With a rating of R being handed out, we can expect the movie to go all out and give you the thrills and chills, the way you expect from these movies.
