Story of Gencrux
The Recent Past

Gencrux is a province consisting of two small islands far off the eastern coast of Darpsi Brazor occupied by an ally regime, the Gecri, which is overseen by Brazorian chancellor Gra Syrpez. Approximately four months ago Darpsi Brazor claimed the islands as their own when it was found to be a rich source of minerals. At the time the islands were thought to be unoccupied but it was soon learned that a government which controlled nearby smaller islands had already established a colony there some seven years prior. Negotiations to share the islands failed and Darpsi Brazor, with its massive militia, was prepared to take the islands by force when the country became entrenched in a border war with the Hyjaki.

The Brazorian council decided that it was a better idea to concentrate more troops at the frontier and rejected Gencrux invasion proposals. The Gecri leader, Tregna Draton became interested in the situation and convinced chancellor Syrpez to submit a plan before the Brazorian council for the Gecri to occupy Gencrux under Brazorian rule and guidance, begin mining operations and erect a remote weapons factory that would utilize the islands minerals to create the more volatile and dangerous type of weapons in Brazor's arsenal. The council accepted the proposal and the Gecri benefited from this both financially and politically and many intricate ways which we will probably never know.
The Keskia Insurgency

With the fall of the international ruling Libran Committee because of many governments desire to pursue their own political interests and military agendas and chaos within the committee itself, former members of the committee have dedicated themselves to causes they deem worthy. While the committee has disbanded and it never really had power over the governments it advised, many former members still have political connections and ties to subversive underground organizations and factions. The small government, called Keskia, which has occupied Gencrux for the past seven years, has appealed to Ajt Gyaraku, an ex-member of the Libran Committee to aid their resistance against the Gecri occupation. Having also been a commander in skirmishes against the Gecri and Darpsi Brazor and called a radicalist by many, it is not surprising that he accepted their request for help, which came in the form of light laser rifles, base fortification materials and excellent military advice. Two expensive energy generation components have recently been stolen by the Keskia Insurgency under General Gyaraku's command and are being held in the Jehcore caves on the tiny isle to the southeast of Gencrux's main island.
When Cortundans Attack

Another island territory, Cortunda, have recently embarked on an empowerment and expansion campaign and have provided aid to privateers to advance their empire. Some of these government commissioned pirates have seized an armament storage facility and a generator component located in the southwest corner of the island. Their control and possession of the weapons in the storage facility could pose a threat to inhabitants of the island. The Cortundans are mostly a brutal and excessively violent race which made Gencrux's weapon supply center an excellent military target and for the pirates that could sell the contraband on the blackmarket, a very profitable one as well.
Um, What's Up With the Gecri or Something Like That

The Gecri, having little international recognition and weak military power are more suited to special operations and work closely with UFTan, F11, Ache and other espionage and science related agencies. The takeover of Gencrux for the Gecri would be a significant first conquest for the newly reformed government. If the Gecri could succeed in this mission their relationship with Darpsi Brazor and their worldwide standing would be greatly improved.
The Checkered Future

General Gyaraku and the Keskia Insurgency intend to make Gencrux a very undesirable place to inhabit. The Cortundan privateers already have a significant military presence in the southwest and the Gecri have several unique technologies available to them and the support of a major international and political government. It's anyone's game. Your group's object is to capture the energy generator components so that they may be used either as a bartering tool or in the construction of a base in the future. Your group must capture all four components for the operation to be a success.
Tactical Information(Stuff You Probably Already Know)

Be wary of the mines and sentries across the plains and be cautious of the Gecri base anti-infiltration mechanisms. Also, if you do not have radar ability or you are approaching a shielded area, be careful about going into those places. If you do not have radar ability you can attempt to obtain it from the Gecri base, however, it is most likely that stealing recharge/radar packs will get you sent to the Gecri brig. You can also try to bypass the anti-warpout system after capturing a component(it's not a bug, it's a feature), however, that too is most likely to get you sent to the Gecri brig. As a Gecri soldier, keep tabs of the entrances into your home base. It is a good idea for the Cortunda to control the sentries. While they can be controlled by any team, the Cortundans should be able to take them fairly easily and should aid in component theft. Also, in instances such as with the Jehcorian caves, it might be better to have a soldier retain the flag rather than returning it promptly to the stand.

Gecri Army:
+ recharge devices
+ radar
+ teleporters
+ traps
- long holding time
- lots of base entrances

Cortundan Pirates:
+ increased weapon production
- awful base!

Keskia Insurgency:
+ fortified base
+ two generator components
- no special weapons
