SD-6 Branch Directive: Disk Removal     Operation Location: Hadjar Academy - Jakarta, Indonesia     Timeframe: 18:12 UTC +7 Western Indonesia Standard Time     445CRXJS9     Approximately forty hours ago two data disks were removed from a C.I.A. data storage library by a mercenary contact who arranged their transportation into a postal center in Medan, Indonesia. From there the disks were reportedly taken by carrier truck to a nearby location and believed to have been traded in exchange for 250,000 USD, essentially, as is, but some observation of the contents of the disks was made. Through contacting the agent that sold the disks and other agents, it is believed that the information contained on the disks is authentic and the disks are originals and not copies. With a small sum of money the agent that sold the disks released some information about his buyer and it is believed to have been the K-Directorate. Security is not the most important factor now. . . it is time. We have in our possession copies of several disks from other C.I.A. libraries, however, previous attempts to decrypt these disks have failed. We have been informed that original disks might contain different data that will not transfer via copy or that special key disks aid in the unlocking process because of the advanced encryption algorithms. We are also looking into the possibility that the original disks may contain some type of built-in microchip that controls access to different disks and may also contain decryption data, but as of yet we cannot verify this information. Great care must be taken in disassembling the disks and examining them. An informant within the K-Directorate has supplied us with limited information regarding the whereabouts of the disks. They are believed to have been taken by airplane to Hadjar Academy, a short flight from Medan where the disks were purchased. Currently, SD6 is working on establishing itself within the region but as of now that establishment is limited. We do not know if the K-Directorate has been thus far successful in decrypting the disks. We suspect that they will begin deconstruction of the disks there and we would like to steal them before that process begins. The C.I.A. are probably looking for them, as well, if they contain sensitive data. Your objective is to retrieve both disks and return them to the vehicle. Stay close to your commanders or operate alone. . . just get the disks. Hadjar Academy is lightly guarded, and some of the K-Directorate may be disguised as these guards or faculty, or civilians. . . avoid them if you can. |
