This is an epilogue and it's for romantic kind. You may cry, you may laugh at my corniness, but you won't get too worked up and it's not too edge- of-your-seat like. I hope, that if you wrote me a response to the question earlier of who should deserve Lita, I hope that you'll be happy with what I wrote. I wrote this listening to Rise of the Crescent Moon. It's kind of sad and kind of has a childish and innocent tune. If anyone wants the WAV or MIDI of it, I can get it. Just mail me. If you plan to read this, it would go along wonderfully with the mood. It's one of my favorite pieces. Okay, I'll stop talking now. I'll just leave you with a quote and let you read on. Lady Jupiter "Every exit is an entrance somewhere else." -Tom Stoppard REVOLUTIONS OF THE MOON Epilogue Part Twelve (12) (Starts with a tableau of all the scouts, Tuxeedo Mask, the three cats, Jupiter Knight, the two generals now on the scout's side, and the newly discovered Sailor Jupiter all thrown against the wall and unconscious. Serena is still slumped in the throne.) Sailor Pluto, after emerged from her Time Gate, looking at the fallen scouts and their allies. A soft smile played on her lips. She swiftly dissapears again, before being discovered. First to wake, Jadeite blinks his eyes, trying to get them into focus. Imagine the surprise he felt when looking around him, the walls no longer pitch black, like a bad conscience, but now white, marble white and as innocent as the first days in Eden. He rubbed the back of his head, which he felt he had banged when the forceful explosion took over. Next to him, Sailor Mars stirred, groaning softly. He smoothed some hair out of her face, brushing her lips slightly with his fingertips. Her eyes opened slowly, regestiring fear, looking at the ex-general, a look that wrenched his heart. "Sailor Mars, it's me, Jadeite. You're not hurt are you?" Jadeite asked, helping her sit up. "My head hurts," Sailor Mars said, rubbing the back of her head, a similar gesture which he just did minutes ago. "Yes, so does mine. It's not bleeding. I don't think it's serious." Jadeite said. He held up three fingers two feet away from her eyes, "How many fingers?" "Three, Jadeite. My head hurts, but I'm not blind." Sailor Mars painfully got up. She too, noticed the dramatic change in the large room. No longer, did it look like an evil colisseum, but rather, like a ballroom, the tiles so white, they looked like innocense. She had never known how a clear conscience looked like until now. Sailor Mars's eyes shifted to the unconscious form on the throne. Was that Serenity, or Serena? She hobbled over toward the throne in the middle of the room, but Jadeite caught hold of her wrist before her third step. "Let go, Jadeite. I want to see if she's gone," Sailor Mars said sternly. Jadeite let her go, but followed her cautiously, expecting Serenity to pop up again and try to kill them. As Sailor Mars got close to unconscious form, she could already see that Serenity was no more. Serena, slumped against the chair looked peaceful, her locks of golden hair strewn over her face. From the other side of the room, Tuxeedo Mask slowly rose and walked slowly toward Serena. He looked at Sailor Mars for an answer, his eyes hopeful. He stepped over the Golden Crystal, now lying on the floor and the remains of the shattered orb. The Silver Crystal was lying a couple yards away, looking harmless. Sailor Mars nodded to Tuxeedo Mask, smiling at last. She breathed a sigh of relief when she heard Serena groan and stir a bit. Tuxeedo Mask, standing next to the throne now picked Serena effortlessly up in his arms and hugged her against him. "Meatball head, wake up." Tuxeedo said, nuzzling her ear softly and mumbling things to her. Serena's blue eyes opened, looking up at Tuxeedo Mask. She reached a hand to his face and took off his white mask, smiling warmly at him. Tuxeedo Mask put her down on the floor, thankfully she could walk perfectly fine without anyone's help. The three cats walked to her, after waking up and complaining about the splitting headache. Hera walked to the Silver Crystal, and looked at Serena expectantly. Outside, birds could be heard. The sun, peaking out from the sun roof shined brightly, casting reflections on everyone, making all of them seem brighter. Serena walked toward the Silver Crystal and picked it up. She fingered it gently in her hand, unsure of what do do with it. She looked at Hera questiongly. "You know what to do....Princess," Hera said at last. Serena nodded. The black dress she was wearing earlier turned lighter, into a white dress that blended in with the tiles around them. Once again, she looked like the Serena everyone kenw and loved. Raising her hands that held the Silver Crystal above her head, she slammed it down onto the floor with a forceful throw. It shattered, but not as you would have expected. The Silver Crystal shattered into five different pieces of four different colors. Two greens, one yellow, one red, and one blue. Like scurrying spring squrrels, the pieces flew toward it's respectful owner. The yellow one flew into Sailor Venus, the blue to Sailor Mercury, red to Sailor Mars, one green to Sailor Jupiter and the last one to Jupiter Knight. Their bodies rose, recieving the crystals, then sank back down again. Jupiter Knight opened his eyes, repeating the gesture of rubbing the back of his head like the others who woke. He turned, looked at Sailor Jupiter at his side. She was curled up close to him, her body still shivering even though she was unconscious. He swept her bangs away from her eyes and stooped down to kiss her. As soon as their lips departed, Sailor Jupiter's eyes opened. The green shine still in them. She got up to a sitting position slowly, her skin so pale it was paler than the white tiles she was leaning on. Her teeth visible chattering. Jupiter Knight took her hands in his and rubbed them together. He blew his warm breath into her hands and rubbed them together again. He caressed her cheeks, giving them some color finally and felt releived to see that her color was returning to it's usual peachy hue. Both stood up and walked toward Serena, standing in the middle of the group. At first, they silently studdied Serena, analyzing her. Finally, Sailor Jupiter gave a big smile and hugged the pigtailed blonde. "I'm so glad you're your old self again!" Sailor Jupiter squealed, hugging her tightly. "You're so cold!" Serena said, noticing how icy Sailor Jupiter's arms were. "You'd be cold too if you had to swim half a mile in ice water," Sailor Jupiter said and smiled to soften the blow. Sailor Venus and Mercury came up just then, and also gave Serena a hug. Sailor Mercury picked up Luna and petted her, feeling comfort in the fur. They stood around Serena, glad that she was once again her old self, not thinking about the two people who still haven't woke... Nephryte saw the spots of white in his closed eyes. He felt someone lying on lap and opened his eyes. It took a while for him to adjust to the bright white surroundings, but when he did, he saw who was on him. Mako-Sailor Jupiter was still unconscious, thrown onto him by the explosion. He sat up leaning against the wall and cradled her in his arms. Her body was so deathly cold it was like holding an ice cube. He caressed her cheeks, kissed her cold eyelids and her pale pink lips. Nephryte gave a mightly sob, feeling himself losing everything he ever lived for all at once. "Nephryte!" Jadeite said, finally looking at his friend, who was sobbing over the unconscious form. They all rushed over to Nephryte who didn't pay any heed to them. He gripped Mako-Sailor Jupiter gently and rocked her in his arms. "Is she-" Sailor Jupiter asked. She awed at how much this person in his arms looked like her, even the tiarra. How could there be another Sailor Jupiter in this universe? Nephryte ignored all of them. To him, the two of them were the only two people in the world. He held her cold fingers in his large hands and let his tears flow freely. He didn't care who saw. "Princess Makoto! I know now, who you are. Why are you leaving me again? I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Princess! If I would have known that this was going to happen to us, I would have hung myself so long ago. Why is everything in the world trying to pull us apart?!" Nephryte cried, his tears spilling on the both of them. Sailor Jupiter never saw so much love coming from one person. Nephryte's heart was breaking right infront of her eyes, but she could not do anything about it. She wanted to comfort him, but not in the way he had wanted when he first met her. She knew her heart belonged to Jupiter Knight, she knew that no one else would come even close to what she felt for him and having him beside her like that made her feel guilty. She felt guilty that Nephryte couldn't have love, like she had. It wasn't until Jupiter Knight reached up with a finger and wiped her tear away did she realize she was crying. She hated watching romance movies because they all made her want to cry. She put her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, trying to stop the tears from flowing. One person already crying was enough for her. "I've finally found you and now you are leaving me. If only, we could be together again, I would make it all up to you. All those times I wasn't there to hold you, all those times I had to go on missions, all the hurt I've done to you, I'll make it up to you, Mako-chan. I promise. Just come back!" Nephryte said, his voice so jagged and low, it sounded like he was about to kick the can too. Serena, holding out her healing wand stepped forward. She held it in her hand and gripped it tightly. Nephryte looked up at her, first, not knowing what she was doing, then finally understanding. "I need some sort of energy to start it with," Serena said. Nephryte nodded. He held out his crystal and held it toward his chest. It made a vibrating sound, almost the same pitch as a dog whistle and glowed in his hand. Nephryte's face twisted in pain, but he kept going until his own crystal from his body was withdrawn. He then, held it in his other hand and broke it in half. He took his own half and put it back into his body. With the other half, he held it suspended in the air just above his hand above Mako-Sailor Jupiter's heart. He pushed his hand, sending the crystal into her body. Then, with the other crystal that he orignally had out, he pointed it toward her heart and nodded to Serena. "Moon Healing Activation!" Sailor Moon shouted, shining the both of them with the healing light. At the same time, Nephryte forcefully ejected the energy from his crystal into Mako-Sailor Jupiter. After a couple of long seconds, the two of them stopped. Nephryte put the crystal away and held Mako's hand. He felt warmth creeping into it, first from her wrist, then to her fingertips. Her lips took on their natural red and the pink entered her cheeks. He looked gratefully at Serena, "At first, I didn't think I liked you. I'm sorry for the misjudgement. Thank you. I really appreciate what you just did. I owe you-" Serena held a hand up and blushed, "It's okay. You don't owe me anything. This is just to make up for what Serenity did to the both of you." Nephryte looked down at Mako, whose hair was blowing with the breeze. He felt his whole world rebuilding itself. In his own mind, he planned out what he was going to do now that they were together once again. He bent down and kissed her full on the lips, putting some much needed warmth into them. The others, trying not to stare did other things. Tuxeedo Mask kissed Serena, arms around her waist. Jadeite and Rei finally kissed, making Jadeite feel that everything was going to be alright. Jupiter Knight and Sailor Jupiter just rubbed noses, caressing each other, nuzzling each other and saying things unheard to everyone else into each other's hearts. Sailor Mercury hugged Luna against her and said, "I guess everything's going to be okay." "Yes, I hope so." Luna said. Sailor Venus held let Artemis perch on her should her spoke to him, "Another thing I can write down into my diary." "Yes, it's getting quite full of interesting incidents." Artemis said. Nephryte drew away, looking into Mako-Sailor Jupiter's bright green eyes. He smiled, now tears of joy flowed down his cheeks and he hugged her to him tightly. "So does anyone want to explain why there are two Sailor Jupiters?" Serena asked, breaking the long silence. "I will explain. I think I am the only one who can," A voice behind them answered. "Sailor Pluto!" Tuxeedo Mask exclaimed, the first to see the powerful lady who appeared out of nowhere. "Where would you like me to start?" Sailor Pluto asked, leaning casually on her Time Staff. "In the beginning," Jupiter Knight said. "There are so many beginnings, it is confusing." Sailor Pluto said, raising her head in thought, trying to pick out the first place to start. "Why don't you go backwards then? Start from right now and work your way back," Sailor Mercury suggested. "Yes, that sounds wise." Sailor Pluto said.... "Mako is Sailor Jupiter. I know this is confusing, but just bear with me and I'll answer any questions left unanswered later. Just let me get through this. But not of the present. Well, not in your present at least. Makoto, Princess Makoto is from the Silver Millenium. Then how, is she here you ask? No, you are not in the past, you are in the present. As you know already, we are in another dimension. This is the world Makoto belongs in. From Nephryte's strong will, Nephryte's yearning for her, has brought her alive again." Setsuna paused, letting it all sink in before going on again, "Princess Makoto was able to conduct the Golden Millenium's energy into a more concentrated form to defeat the Silver Crystal because she is from the Silver Millenium, a lost millenium where people, although look the same, are of a different genetic build. I won't go into the scientific things right now." "What about Serena?" Tuxeedo Mask blurted out. "Serena is fine, as you can see." Sailor Pluto said, "But in the Silver Millenium, Serenity had problems. I would say that it was too much of a responsibility for her and she just cracked under pressure. I always thought it was odd how Serenity kept craving power, even before the we knew there was something wrong with her. Queen Serenity, the elder sent all of us to the future, which is now, the present, hoping Serenity would somehow change for the better. But I guess it didn't work. Serenity out powered Serena from the inside out and took over her body. She came to this dimension for the white orb, which is now shattered," Sailor Pluto pointed to the cracked glass on the floor, "That can conduct the Silver Crystal energy into a fatal laser beam that is the most destructive force in the universe that we know of. Thanks to all of you, she can no longer harm anyone now." Sailor Pluto finished, putting everything blunt, making the longest story short. At first, everyone was speechless, trying to digest everything that the Guardian of Time told them. Finally, Sailor Venus asked, "Why couldn't you help Serenity, Sailor Pluto?" Sailor Pluto sighed, "How many times do I have to tell you guys? I am just a bystander and I can't interfere too much with the time span. I am not God, and nor do I play god. I just watch the time pass. I am not time itself. I don't sequence everything in life and I don't try to. You people have to stop thinking that!" The frustrated Sailor Pluto walked off, by herself. Then, she took a deep breath and turned back to them, "You ought to go back to your own dimension now. It's time." With that, she dissapeared in a swirl of mist. "She's right. We should go back. I'm sure our parents are worried. Who knows how much time has passed since we left." Sailor Mercury said. Nephryte spoke up, "I'm staying here." "What?!" Everyone asked. "I'm staying here," Nephryte repeated more slowly with emphasis. "That's what I thought," Jadeite mumbled. Then, he looked at Nephryte again. Nephryte standing by Mako had his arms around her. He understood why Nephryte was standing. "Why?" Serena asked. "Because I want to stay with Mako," Nephryte answered. "She can come with us," Serena offered. "No, I can't." Mako said, which was the first phrase she had said to them in a long time, "You know that I can't fit into your world. They have already seen Lita, and it would be quite odd if I appeared, someone who looked exactly like her." "She's right," Sailor Jupiter nodded. The Golden Crystal, lying on the floor was projecting a strong light, opening a wormhole for them to step through. They looked at it, then at Nephryte and Makoto. Tuxeedo Mask stepped forward and shook Nephryte's hand, "Are you sure you don't want to come back?" "I'm sure. I'm staying here with Princess Makoto." Nephryte said, in a determined voice. Tuxeedo Mask nodded, "Good-bye." He started to pull Serena toward the wormhole. They jumped in and dissapeared. "Goodbye," Sailor Mars said, finding nothing else appropriate to say except, "You're not so bad afterall." "Thanks," Nephryte smiled. Sailor Venus and Artemis stepped forward, "Goodbye, Nephryte. I wish we could have known each other longer, but I guess it's the way it has to be." "Good bye, Venus, Artemis." Nephryte said and waved as Venus followed Mars into the wormhole holding Artemis. Luna smiled sadly at Nephryte, "I'm sorry that I had my doubts against you. You're okay." She jumped into the wormhole. Jupiter Knight stepped forward and also shook Nephryte's hand, "Feel free to drop by in our dimension any time you feel like." "Thanks," Nephryte said. Jupiter Knight looked at Sailor Jupiter, holding out a hand for her. She shook her head, "I want to talk to him alone for a minute. Go on without me." Jupiter Knight nodded and went into the wormhole. Hera walked up to Nephryte and looked up at the towering man. Nephryte stooped down to pick her up. Something occured to Hera as she looked from Nephryte to Princess Makoto. Sailor Jupiter, as if reading the small cat's mind said, "Hera, you should stay with them. It's where you belong, rightfully." "Thank you," Hera said and jumped out of Nephryte's arms into Makoto's. Jadeite looking like he had tears in his eyes quickly blinked. He stood infront of Nephryte, looking him straight in the eyes, trying to think of something to say. "Goodbye Jade. I'll miss you and your snoring." Nephryte said, breaking the uncomfortable silence. "Bye Neph. I'll miss your childish tantrums." Jadeite said, which made Nephryte's cheeks color slightly. The two generals hugged, then stood apart to look one last time at each other. "Tell me if Kunz or Zoey come around," Jadeite said. "I will," Nephryte promised and watched as Jadeite walked into the wormhole. Last but not least, stood Sailor Jupiter. She gazed at Nephryte, trying to think of something to say. She felt she couldn't leave until she said something to him. "So this is what an uncomfortable silence feels like," Nephryte joked, breaking the quiet. Sailor Jupiter hugged Nephryte lightly, then said, "I'm glad you finally found happiness, Nephryte." She then bent down and gave Hera a kiss on the nose, "I'll miss you. I guess I'll find another alarm clock." Then, Sailor Jupiter looked at Makoto, her mirror image. They stared at each other for a long time, before finally hugging. "I've never hugged myself before," Makoto said to Sailor Jupiter. "I bet I never will again," Sailor Jupiter answered. The pulled apart and smiled to each other, looking like mirrors of each other. Silently, Sailor Jupiter walked toward the wormhole. She picked up the Golden Crystal lying on the ground and carried it with her through the portal and stepped out of their dimension into her own. "We're together finally," Nephryte said as he hugged Princess Makoto to him. ********************************************************************* ...And they lived happily ever after.
