Disclaimer: I don't own Sailormoon, but, I _do_ own some characters in this fic. *grin* You can use them, if you want. ^^ Oh, and I don't own Superman either. ^^ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ahh...Friday at last. Lita slowly grinned as she made her way to Mrs. Kendra's house. Okay, so what if Ken's group didn't like her? So what if Ken was still a jerk? So what if the popular girls kept throwing her looks of envy? She didn't care. Today was _her_ day. The day when Ken would be "home", when she would be introduced to him as his "sister", the day when she would show Mr. Popular here, that she was going to be in his face pretty much 24/7, and there was nothing he could do about it. "Bye, Ken! Love ya!" Tanya's annoying and all-too perky voice yelled. Ken grumbled and started walking down the street. He was so happy it was Friday, and probably wouldn't see Tanya Marlins for two whole days. He turned the corner and quickly walked to his house. Thank the Lord that his house wasn't that far away from the school. Ken grinned at Ami Anderson when he walked passed her, and received a small smile in return. He waved, and entered his mom's house. "Mom! I'm home!" Ken walked in and dropped his backpack on the ground. "Hey, Mom? Are you here?" "I'm in the kitchen!" Mrs. Kendra yelled. Ken walked in the kitchen and saw his mother mixing up a batch of oatmeal cookies. He grinned and kissed her cheek. "You know I don't like those kind of cookies," he said, and opened the refrigerator. "These aren't for you, and yes, I do know you don't like oatmeal cookies," Mrs. Kendra replied. "Then who? We have a guest? You have a boyfriend?" Ken teased as he pulled out a soda. "Or is someone sick?" "No, nope, in your dreams, and wrong." She laughed. "It's for someone else." "Oh? Who?" "Well, she'd be down here any minute." Ken cast a small glance at his mother, and raised an eyebrow. "She? Don't tell me you're trying to set me up." "No. Nothing like that!" "Promise? Last time you did that, the girl turned out to be Ami, and we barely said two words to each other the entire night." He shook his head. "Since when do I lie?" Mrs. Kendra grinned. He shrugged and drank his soda. "Mrs. Kendra...is that some oatmeal cookies I smell?" A sudden voice called out. Hmm...where had he heard that voice before? "Yes, I thought you'd like them." Ken placed the soda on a table, and looked for the source of the voice. He found it all right. Ken spit the soda out and yelled, "LITA?!" "Ken! I just mopped the floor!" Mrs. Kendra scolded. Lita grinned wickedly, green eyes sparkling with laughter. "Hi, Ken!" She waved at him. "What! Why are you here?!" Ken turned to his mother. "What is she doing here?" "Living," Mrs. Kendra said. "You have a problem with her?" "YES!" Lita laughed. "Guess you're my new brother! Oh boy, I can't wait until I tell everyone you wear PINK boxers with little red RABBITS on!!" She laughed again. "I can't believe you wear them! And those little Superman boxers!!" Ken growled. "I do not wear them!" "Then why do you have them in your drawer?" Lita asked. "Why do you have them in your drawer...brother?" "What!? I'm not your brother!" Ken turned angrily towards his mother. "What is she talking about?" Mrs. Kendra herself had a small smile on her face. "She's right; she's your sister now. I adopted her." "WHAT?!" Ken yelled and turned to face Lita. "You!" "Yes, me," Lita said and grinned. He turned to walk towards her, but unfortunately... "Ken, watch out for the--" "Ahh!" Ken slipped on the wet floor, and before he landed, get tried to grab a hold of something. "Hey!" Lita yelled, and she fell to the floor--rather on Ken, who had fallen to the floor first. He blinked and pushed Lita off him. Lita stood up and glared down at him. "You let her into MY room?!" Ken shouted. "Yes, and young man, go take a shower and you better behave more civilized in front of Lita!" Mrs. Kendra instructed. "No if's, but's, or anything else." Ken shook his head, and quickly got off the ground, brushing past Lita's shoulder as he past her. As soon as Ken left, Mrs. Kendra said, "Sorry for that...Ken isn't usually like that. It seems like you two have a sort of grudge against each other." "Oh, it's okay," Lita said, and she grinned. "What about the cookies?" Ken shook his head and stared at himself in the mirror. Why was life so unfair? Just when he thought he had peace for two days, he just found out that yet another girl was going to invade his life. Not just _any_ girl, but that girl with the locker next to him, the one that sits next to him, the one that's downstairs right now with his mother. Lita. Of all the girls, it just _had_ to be her. Life is so unfair. He turned around and sighed. When he finally got Tanya Marlins out of his face, he just had to get another girl in his face. This was going to be one long weekend. ------------------------------------------------------------------- All right, the end of this chapter!! You like? Hate? Send them to me!!
