At noon the day after Sailor Mercury and Mercury knights arrival,
the people of Mercurys capital was gathered before the palace.
The chancellor would speak first. Technicians made sure that everyone
on Mercury would hear this.

"People of Mercury, for a millenia we've been waiting.
A thousand years ago, we not only lost our princess and her husband,
we lost the future heir to the throne. But now they have returned.
We can not get the future heir back, but the princess and her husband
has returned. The time has come for retribution." With that,
the chancellor backed away leaving place for the princess.

"People of Mercury, for a millenia, we've been separated from
Mercury. We've been fighting to protect this realm and the
Supreme Princess. Now the time has come for Mercury to rise and
the alliance to take it's place in this world. We cannot get our
heir back, but we will get our revenge. Today will be the start of
our retribution. Today, Mercury will shred it's cloak and take it's
rightful place as a living planet." Princess Amy turned and went
inside. Out side the people were silent. Then as if on cue, the whole
planet rejoyced. The time had come.



Sailor Mars and Mars knight didn't have as good luck as Sailor Mercury
and Mercury knight. The chancellor didn't agree to see them as they
demanded it. That really annoyed the high princess Rei of Mars.
Before Mars knight could stop her, Sailor Mars called out
her attack. "Mars Flame Sniper!" The flame sniper hit the door
to the chancellors room. Stepping through the charred door with
her bow at hands, Sailor Mars made a disgusted sound. In a chair
behind a desk sat a short, fat bald man.
"Chancellor of Mars I presume?" said Sailor Mars as she stepped inside.
"Who're you? I'm busy! You have to schedual a meeting. And why
do you have a replica of the Mars senshi fuku? Guards, seize
her for pretending to be Sailor Mars!" Mars knigt stood behind
Sailor Mars guarding her back. "Now you listen here! I am the
high princess Rei of Mars and I demand that you step back as
acting regent of Mars. We have come back to seize our throne.
Now will you co operate our would you like to be replaced."
The chancellor shrieked. "You can't replace me, this position is
inherited!" "Now that would be easily arranged. High treason
against the rightful heir of the throne. I think that would work."
The chancellor started sweating. "If you really are the high
princess then you should be able to do something to show it."

Rei sighed. With a snapp flames danced around the chancellor,
moving closer and closer. They were almost at him, when the
chancellor shrieked again. "Forgive me your highness. I didn't know!"
"You do know now. From this moment, you're relived from this
position. We will examine your personal assets and the things you have
done for Mars. If we're not pleased with the outcome, you will
be held capitive in the dungenons and your belongings will
be confiscated. Prepare our old rooms and make sure that the people
of Mars will be able to hear our speech tomorrow at noon."
Sailor Mars turned and went out with Mars knight. Both of them were
completly focused on their surrondings incase something would happen.
By the time they got to their old rooms, the chancellor had
managed to get them cleaned. Though the air still was musty
the room was clean. "Good night, my beloved." said Mars knight.
"Good night." The two went inside their rooms and turned to sleep.


At noon he chancellor came to lead them to a room. The room was meant
for the rulers of Mars to hold their speeches at.
"Ladies and men of Mars. Finally, we have returned to claim our throne.
The chancellor acting regent has been removed.
Complainments about his reign will be heard by us.
Today Mars will step into a new era. Today the shield that protects
us from Earths eyes will be dropped. The time has come for our
retribution." The chancellor was pale as death when he heard
Sailor Mars say that. "You can't do that!"
"Who would stop me? You?" said Sailor Mars wih a smirk as she left."
The corridors were empty as they moved to their quarters. Noon dared
to disturb them.

The rooms they had looked almost as they used to. The balcony
stil connected the rooms. Rei went outside on the balcony
and gazed at the stars. Chad saw Rei standing outside,
looking at the stars. Moving quietly he crept up behind
his girlfriend and placed his arms around her waist.
"Rei-chan, this isn't really the time to ask but."
Chad went down on one knee. "Will you marry me Rei-chan?"
Somehow Chad had managed to produce a black velvet box with
a simple silver band with diamonds and rubies formed in the
sign of Mars. "I'd love to." said Rei with tears in her eyes.
Unaware of the person in the shadows watching them,
the pairs tears mingled as they kissed eachother lovingly.
The shadow saw them kiss and silently cackled with laughter
before disappearing in a burst of golden dust.
