1.1.1 Chapter Three: "Freakishly strong hime…"

Makoto was briefly startled that he knew what she was thinking. "Then again he already knows who I am," she thought. "Come on Makoto," a voice said in her mind. "Yes. I will," she thought as the voice brought down the rest of her defense. "Excellent," that voice said again. The black cloud flew towards her. She didn’t want to forget everything, just the bad memories. "But what about the fun times you had with your friends? How you used to cook for Usagi, those times at the temple. Do I really want to forget those memories…" she thought. The black mist was coming closer. "No I can’t. I don’t want this anymore. No!" she shouted decisively and her mental shields rose again.

The cloud stopped inches in front of her, not being able to reach into her mind and past her defense. Schuldich let out a feral cry then started laughing. "You can’t keep that up for long. No worries though. The shield is no use if you are unconscious. Take care of her," he ordered the shadow. Schuldich disappeared in a cloud of black mist. "You can’t win hime there are more of us…assuming we let you live," a voice said in her mind. Then Makoto was sure that Schuldich was gone from the park playground or anywhere for a two mile radius (A.N.-sixth sense remember?).

Makoto fixed her attention on the cloud of black mist inches from her face. "Now then…" she said. Makoto jumped back as she saw the cloud solidifying and taking shape. Finally in front of her stood a woman. The blond had red skin, yellow eyes and wore a revealing yellow dress. "This should be a piece of cake Makoto. Just breath," she told herself after expecting another Galaxia to form. "You are the one called Makoto?" The woman asked in a monotone voice.

She nodded. "I am Wara, and this will be your last day in that body. I will take over," she stated matter-a factly. Makoto snorted. Wara ran lightning fast and punched Makoto. She missed and only punched the air beside her as Makoto ducked and brought her knee to Wara’s stomach. Wara flinched and threw Makoto over her shoulder. Makoto landed with a thud on the floor then jumped up. "Is that the best you got Wara-baka?" Makoto asked while wiping her butt. Wara smiled and held up a red hand. In it a fireball grew. She threw it at Makoto.

The brunette was blasted into a tree. "Time to transform," she thought getting up with much difficulty. Makoto reached into her subspace pocket and pulled out her Eternal stone. She raised it into the air. "Jupiter Eternal Power!" she yelled. After the transformation sequence (A.N.-you know good and well how long it takes to describe the whole thing) stood a fuku clad Eternal Sailor Jupiter. She wore a green choker with silver Dragon entwined in the Jupiter symbol. She had the basic white fuku (like eternal Sailor Moon) but the top swimsuit part was white with a deep green bow and silver heart/ Jupiter symbol on it. The skirt part of her fuku was deep green and there were two layers at the bottom that were white and silver. Her tiara was silver with an emerald embedded in it. Her white gloves were trimmed in green and she wore green heeled boots. Her long green bow on her back was flapping in the wind. Makoto also had white angel type wings on her back that were outspread. This was all a normal transformation for her although she used it only once before.

Now Eternal Sailor Jupiter posed in front of Wara but with a look of revenge on her face. "You’re not Sailor Jupiter! Who are you," Wara demanded. "You are going to listen to all of my speech. I am the Senshi of protection and strength. I carry the protection of the lightning/thunder planet Jupiter. I-I am…I am the current Guardian of the Cosmos (A.N.- Usagi is the real one but she died). I am Eternal Sailor Jupiter at the moment but to solve your confusion I have many transformations. Well I guess that’s enough with the speech and oh yeah, and I am your executioner, demon," Jupiter said in the traditional really long Sailor Moon way.

Jupiter flew in the air to dodge the barrage of fireballs thrown at her. With her wings flapping she landed behind Wara. Wara threw a small ball of fire at Jupiter. She only succeeded in singing her fuku. Wara turned and quickly took a step back. Jupiter had fury written all over her face and the death glare she gave made it even worse. "Not ever again," she said icily. "Jupiter flower hurricane!" she screamed sending out her attack. (A.N.- that is actually one of her attacks, from the manga I think).

The strong attack hit Wara head on but she wasn’t really affected. "Nani no Jigoku! That was supposed to work," she thought furiously. She jumped about twenty feet in the air to dodge Wara’s next attack. Wara blasted Jupiter with fire while she was in the air. Jupiter landed at Wara’s feet. Wara continuously kicked her. "Serenity-sama, I have failed," Jupiter thought as the pain increased.

Using her small reserve of energy rolled away then stood. "Jupiter Supreme thunder dragon!" she screamed.

The weak electrical dragon engulfed Wara but she remained unfazed by the attack. "No," she whispered with hope already lost. "No," she repeated as she staggered to her knees. Jupiter felt a white light as it bathed her. When it disappeared, Eternal Sailor Jupiter stood there with a sword hanging in its sheath around an ornamental silver dragon belt. Jupiter pulled it out. The sword was long (about as long as your arm) and deadly looking. The hilt was made out of emerald with a silver dragon entwined on it. The blade was inscribed with strange symbols. Jupiter recognized some of them as the ones that came from Rei-chan’s anti-evil charms.

"Where did this come from! This isn’t mine! Serenity-sama!" she yelled after studying it. A ghost like figure of Queen Selenity appeared in front of her (not the queen she was expecting). Jupiter backed up a couple of steps and noticed that Wara was still watching with amusement. "It’s called the Ruri Nizomo. For use against the new enemy, Makoto-hime. Use it and remember your skills from the Silver Millennium. It was yours then and will remain now. Remember we all love you," the ghost of Queen Selenity said and disappeared in a gust of wind.

*Flashback*

"Shinozaki, I don’t know how to use the sword!" a ten year old Makoto- hime yelled. She was in a deserted practice room with the 15-yr. old Shinozaki, her best friend. "You forced me to teach you. The King said it’s improper for a lady to use a sword. If I get caught it’s my ass! Now quit acting like a baka and let’s go through the drills again!" he scolded. Makoto was determined to beat him so she put on a calm expression that somehow unnerved him. She clenched her teeth and brought her wooden practice sword to meet Shinozaki’s with a loud clack.

*Owari Flashback*

*Another Flashback*

"Whoa slow down you beat me already. Its over," Shinozaki said from his position on the floor. Makoto removed Ruri from its position on at neck. The now eighteen year old Makoto took off the warrior calm she had adopted since her first lesson and laughed. "Zaki-kun you’re no fun anymore! I beat you for like the hundredth time. You must be getting old," she joked. "Fine you’re the best. Just don’t tell Queen Selenity that the chief of universal security lost to a princess. I’ll loose my job," he exclaimed. "You’re so funny Zaki-kun," she said and playfully punched his shoulder. Ken winced at her hard playful punch. "Freakishly strong hime," he muttered as he escorted Makoto out of the empty training room.

*Owari Flashback*

*Back in the park*

Eternal Sailor Jupiter swung her sword experimentally. She looked like a professional. "I would never have guessed it. I actually have a sword," she whispered. "Great but do you know how to use it girl," Wara drawled. Jupiter put on her serene warrior façade. "On guard," she challenged.

3 Chapter Four: "Watashima omae o korosu…"

Wara smirked and held out her hand. A red, wicked looking blade formed out of fire. "Let’s go hime," she said and charged her. Jupiter sidestepped. She spun, countered and thrust causing Wara to jump back to avoid being hit (A.N.- now for the hard sword language. And um if this seems familiar I pick up lots of the secret language from Tamora P. books).

Jupiter was forced to block repeatedly against Wara’s spinning and slashing blade. "I can do this," Jupiter thought to herself then concentrated all of her senses on Wara. Wara faltered. Jupiter moved Ruri into a reverse crescent. Wara blocked almost a little too late after briefly appearing to tire. Jupiter pulled her blade into a vertical butterfly, almost to fast to watch. Her Ruri slashed a long but shallow gash on Wara from her shoulder to abdomen. Black blood trickled out but Wara kept on fighting. Her movements appeared to be slightly pained.

Jupiter had also earned a wound on her left hand and was now thankful that she could use both sword hands. She ignored the pain and continued fighting. Jupiter found the opening she was looking for and swept her sword for Wara’s head. Wara blocked and jumped back. She lunged for Jupiter as they locked swords, body to body. Wara kneed Jupiter in her stomach, a dirty trick. Jupiter fell on the floor and rolled out of the way to avoid Wara’s blade.

"You fight dirty Wara," she spat out. Wara and Jupiter continued to exchange blows. Jupiter’s wound was now bleeding heavily and she was afraid that she might pass out unlike the Wara (who was hurt worse then she was and still not stopping). "It’s now or never," she thought. Jupiter blocked Wara’s pass and parried her return cut and found a split second opening.

She barred Wara’s sword arm with her shoulder and thrust her sword into the spot Wara’s heart was supposed to be. She pulled out her sword, now covered in black blood, from Wara. Wara crumpled to the floor. A glowing red marble popped from Wara’s bleeding chest and rolled its way to Jupiter’s feet. Jupiter crushed it into dust with a boot (A.N.- unlike Amy who would have studied it). "I guess I’m finished with you." Jupiter wiped her sword on the grass before returning it to her sheath and took off the whole belt/sheath and returned it to her subspace pocket knowing she could access it if necessary. She began to walk towards the entrance of the park.

Eternal Sailor Jupiter stopped in her tracks as she heard noises behind her. She turned and saw Wara getting up. "H-how?" she whispered. Wara began walking towards her but Jupiter sensed that Wara was missing her power. "I don’t think I can do any of those fancy sword tricks. I hardly have any elemental energy. Let’s finish it off with an old attack," she thought. "Sparkling Vital Pressure!" she screamed putting the last of her elemental energy into it.

Wara burst into black ash and was blown away by a mysterious gust of wind. Jupiter blinked…Wara was gone. "I must have finished her off with the attack…" she thought, still not believing her eyes. Jupiter ran to the spot where she destroyed Wara. All that remained of the demon was a scorch mark on the grass.

Jupiter stood there in silence for a moment. For a second she thought she heard a noise. "I’m getting paranoid," she thought. She concentrated on her wounds and healed them to the best of her abilities. The wounds still looked gruesome but weren’t bleeding anymore. "I will die before joining you Schuldich. I will destroy this new evil or die trying. You hear that Schuldich? Watashima omae o korosu! (I swear I will kill you)" she said while clenching her right fist. Jupiter detransformed in a flash of green light. Makoto stared at the moon. "Thank you Queen Selenity…Serenity-hime, minna-san," she said to the moon. Feeling an odd sense of peace she walked home.
