[why] they have a lot in common. both are orphans (mako lost her 'rents in a plane crash while duo never knew his) and considers their friends are their new family. they both stay funny and happy even after losing their family and carrying the world's fate on their shoulders. they both seem to like fighting, and they surely bring the fun in it (they open up a loaded can of WHOOP-ASS!!!). unfortunately, neither know how to control his/herself during fights (basically, they kinda go crazee). and of course, they're both incredible flirts. duo is definitely #1 on the list
[name] shuichi minamino / kurama
[anime series] yu yu hakusho
[age] perhaps 2 years older
[description] shuichi has green eyes, red hair. kurama has amber eyes, silver hair... smart, serious, yet fun... sort of timid... or someone who knows that talking isn't really necessary
[why] these two have lots of stuff in common. shuichi transforms into kurama, a thief demon fox from the maikai (demon world) while makoto transforms into sailor jupiter. his powers are over plants (examples are the rose whip and shimaneki) much like jupiter. one of his very powerful attacks, fuuka enbu jin, will remind you of jupiter's oak evolution, as this attack is a torrent of razor sharp rose petals that rain down on him. they also have the same protective side (mako-chan with her friends, kurama with his mother). I get tingles whenever I think of them being together!
[name] nuriko (court warrior) / chou ryuuen

[age] err... same age to 5 yrs. older than mako-chan
[description] purple hair, amber eyes... fun, girly, sweet, eccentric (very!)
[why] first of, there's a debate going around whether he's really gay or just keeping his younger sister's memory alive (she died when he was 10, and he took her identity)... i don't know for sure, and i don't particularly care... i think he's a man in touch with his feminine side. anyway, i chose him because they've got LOTS of similarities. he's the most protective warrior to miaka, the priestess of suzaku, just like mako-chan is to aailor moon. if you've seen this anime series, you can tell that they deserve each other because they're VERY strong (nuriko can lift huge boulders or rock with one hand, for pete's sake! he's very girly yet VERY MALE, just like makoto, who can be very tomboyish yet VERY FEMALE at the same time. they both die from protecting somebody else (they're always the first to die, dammit!)
out of all of the seishi and the senshi, both nuriko's and makoto's stories are the saddest, and have lived through the most unnecessary experiences in life

[description] hotheaded, amber-eyed redhead with fangs (i personally love those fangs!)
[why] mako-chan and tasuki are both fiery-tempered and gets in trouble a lot. also, since he's the comic relief in the series, I think mako-chan would really like him. this cutie is part of a group of bandits in the series and gets into fights, etc. meanwhile, mako-chan got into lots of fights, too (i even read that she was supposed to be in a gang and she was supposed to smoke! naoko-sama just changed her mind). same experiences, same character. i think they'd get along just fine!

[description] brown hair w/ bangs that can cover half of his face. green eyes. can probably pass as mako-chan's twin or older brother
[why] out of all the pilots, this guy rarely smiles, and is the quietest and most mysterious. I daresay, he needs mako-chan to lighten up his mood. and mako-chan would probably be interested in him 'coz of the aura of mystery around him. in a way, they complement each other: one mysterious and quiet; the other, outgoing and fun
[name] yohji kudoh

[age] 21-22
[description] (manga) darkbrown hair and green eyes... (anime) dirty blonde and green eyes... i prefer his looks in the manga...
[why] why? WHY? look at that face! that body! (i'm SO in love with him right now that i worship him more than duo!)
this guy is arguably the biggest playboy in anime. mako-chan is quite a playgirl (although next only to minako, am I right, everyone?) get their connection? this guy dates only females who are 18 or above. i think everyone would agree that yohji-kun will DEFINITELY make an exception. they both had that special someone whom they lost (yohji with his female agent partner and mako-chan with Sempai). they'd take care for each other because i know they wouldn't want to get hurt again.
did you know that yohji smokes? in the manga, like i wrote before, mako-chan was supposed to also smoke
i like yohji-kun's weapon, the piano wires. they're almost as cool as jupiter's lightning

[description] brown hair like mako's and dark blue eyes
[why] he reminds me of mako/lita's best friend, shinozaki/KEN. you get it, right? plus they've got blue eyes and brown hair, just like in the SM anime. ken is such a sweetie! he LOVES kids! i can see the two having a wonderful family. these two are both dedicated for justice and humanity. also, if you see more of his images, ken-ken wears shirts and rubber shoes, meaning he's athletic and fun to be around. those cute goggles don't hurt either. his choice of weapon is the bugnuks, which are gloves with sharp metals on the knuckles(imagine Wolverine). hella tight, don't ya think?

[why] i have a weakness for redheads... although this hottie is a villain, i am amazed by him. he's a mindreader, which is so cool yet has its drawbacks (when he's reading minds, he doesn' t know if it's his thoughts or others, causing havoc on his actions and mind). just like mako-chan, ne? mako can transform into jupiter and control really cool powers, but never get any peace. he is impulsive, and seizes the moment to act or attack, just like mako-chan. sometimes, he's just there in the room, blending in the background like mako-chan is (it really sucks when the others talk their butts off about stuff and she just nodds or says a few words!) he moves real fast and can dodge blows and mako-chan can do the same thing. of course, they're both strong as hell! this evil hottie ROCKS!
[jes some info] in the anime series, the good side and the bad side both have four guys, and they can wight one on one! ran and crawford are the leaders, omi and nagi are the youngest ones, ken and farfarello have short hair, which leaves yohji-sama and schu-schu because of the long hair! i smell a duel for the fair mako-chan!! hell yeah!!!
