On April 17, Hope and I spent a long day at the University of California Davis.  Hope was tested extensively by the top Oncologist there.  I was devastated to find out that Hope's cancer had spread to her spleen and was found widespread in her abdomen.  I was told that Hope had a short time left.
So sadly, Hope was put to sleep on May 31, 2003, at home. A wonderful lady Vet came to the house.  She was very nurturing and compassionate.  Hope and Kona loved her.  Hope is my best friend in the whole world and I love her more than anything, and I  always will.  I think about her constantly and I miss her terribly.  I know that Hope is now in a very beautiful place, free of her body.  I can't wait until I see her again.
Hope is playing with one of her favorite toys, the balls that go in the box.

Hope with her friend, Tashi.  Hope is on the left with the pink collar and Tashi is on the right with the tan collar.  Tashi has her own webpage and can be viewed by clicking below.
