A.) Jesus Christ

1. His finished work – provides eternal life:

"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. "(John 19:30)
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son." I John 5:11

2. The continuous work by the Spirit – provides daily participation in his life:

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. (John 16:13)

That we understand God’s conception of full stature

That we move into His viewpoint

That we start building on the right foundation
