Black Love Poetry Tour
arrived at the Patricity and LaRue Spoken Word Program at the California Dinner
on Micron in Rancho Cordova (Sacramento Area )Both LaRue and I brought it along
with the other entertainers.
I appeared at the Sweet Fingers
Jamaican Restaurant along with several Poets from the Black Men Expressions
Poetry Series that included Terry Moore and Khiry Malik Moore, and Lee Knight
Jr. Terry Moore wrote a report on what happened that night. Check out that

I appeared at the Guild
Theater 2828 35th Street in Sacramento, CA as part of Terry Moore’s
Black Men’s Expression Poetry Tour with “Sister Praise Poetry.” The 200 + audience was hot with praise ~all
of us poets~ especially Terry Moore.
LaRue Duncan Fowler dug deep, and brought it with poetry from “Deep In A
Sister’s Heart. I also appeared at the
Show Saturday August 28,4004 and read
Breathing While Black” and several Sister Praise Poems.

I will appear at the Clean Mouth Slam at
the Guild Theater 2828 35th at Broadway in the Oak Park section of
Sacramento, CA. The Clean Mouth Slam begins at 7pm and ends at 9pm. Admission is $7.00. Tickets are available at
Underground Books next door to the Guild Theater. Some of the other poets at
the Clean Mouth Slam include Khiry Malik Moore, Aaron Clyde, Rod Rodzella
Freeman, Michell Taylor and Sister Shay. Others will be announced later.

in these Candlelight Love Poetry Nights in Sept. And Oct. however Terry Moore
has told me that at the Saturday, Nov.20, 2004 Candlelight Poetry Night, I will
be a featured Poet and will present poems–sister praise poetry from History To
Destiny Through Afrocentric Poetry (and several new poems including some poems
written in Sacramento) for 20 minutes. I hope you can be there to see poets lift our sisters up with poetry that
is meant to promote love and respect for our sisters. Slight admission cost: $3.00 nightly.
