See you, Amsterdam

SYNOPSIS 

Nana Ama is found having false papers when she arrives in Amsterdam on transit to the U.S. Her dream to build a new life in the US falls to pieces. With the help of friends she manages to elude the police and tries to settle as an illegal immigrant in Amsterdam. She tries to earn her money with numerous jobs as a cleaner and on the market but she realizes that the pastures in the Netherlands are not as green as she expected. Nana Ama starts a relationship with the Ghanean Kweku Yawson (Fred Amugi) but, encouraged by his wicked mother (Grace Nortey), he cheats on her with a woman in Ghana (Mynna Otoo). Her luck turns when she finds the lover of her life. With Mike (David Dontoh) she decides to go back to Ghana to start to start a new future, turning their back on the cold Netherlands.
