Growing In Godliness
Hello, Friend!

It sure has been a long time since we spoke last. How I have missed our time together! I guess sometimes we all get caught up in the busy-ness of life and into our own situations that it seems we forget to take time for others. When we forget to take time for others, I feel like that can put a damper on our OWN needs being met. With that said, I sure do have so much I want to share with you!

I recently learned a very valuable lesson and I know that it can be useful to you, if not now, perhaps in the future. How many times I have struggled with so much and I find myself always telling people, "I am ok, I can deal with it." No sooner do those words come from my mouth, than I crumble. I guess I learned through scripture and prayer that I need to learn to "Let Go and Let God". I know you and I have struggled with so many things in our lives. These things we try to deal with alone and try to mask as "no big deal". In reality we need each other to lean on and we mostly need to lean on God for our strength.

I want to give you encouragement right now, as I know you are going through some struggles of your own. I encourage you to know that friends are the greatest earthly gift that God ever gave us. I treasure our friendship because I know that when I need someone to talk to, you are there. I know that when I can't take it alone....our friendship and love will carry us through anything. But mostly, be encouraged that even when we feel alone or we have so much time between our little talks...God is ALWAYS available and never too busy to give us a hug or words of love and encouragement. Just as I learned, we have to rely on God and the encouragement of our friends so that things don't seem so impossible.

With that in mind, I must close now. I hope that our chat was an encouragement and HAS helped you...I know it sure helped me!

Let's not keep so much time in between our little chats because I know we both need them.

Love you always,

Renee
