| What is being referred to is that we were due to sail two weeks earlier but the day before we were to leave there was a photo of our ship leaning very heavily to one side in dry dock in The Manchester Guardian It seems that after being dry-docked for maintenance when refilling the dock someone opened one of the drain cocks in the engine room and the ship was flooded . The engineer dived under the water to find the open valve apparently some bravery was involved. - Ray |
