Five sites i.e. Mout, Bedkholo, El-Rashda, El-Hendaw, and El-Maasara in New Valley Governorate were selected to improve the Carniolan honeybee race during three successive years. Qualitative and quantitative characters were tested for the colonies, the best three ones in each site were taken and first single cousins program was carried out to produce collecting characters mothers (C.C.M.). Evaluation of C.C.M. was done through qualitative and quantitative measurements, which showed significant improvement in some of them. Thereafter, instrumental insemination program was applied for the offspring of C.C.M. to produce pure collecting characters mothers (P.C.C.M.) which evaluated and showed increasing percentages in the most tested measurements.
