Name: Yugi Motuo
Japanese Name: Yuugi Motuo (but it's pronounced the same)
Best Friends: Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, and Tea Gardner
Favorite Card: The Dark Magician
Best Card: N/A (He has to many good ones)
Siblings: none
Age: 13-15
Biography: Well, Yugi isn't my most favorite character, but he isn't all that bad. He IS the star of the show, after all (this I find very funny as you see more of the others than actual Yugi, but anyway). Yugi is a little kid (by little I mean SHORT), with tri-colored hair that's kinda' cool in it's own speacial way, and a puzzle that he wears around his neck. Oh, he also has the spirit of an ancient Egyptain Pharoh that lives in his body sometimes. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Yugi is about as innoccent as they come and he is, well lets be honest, a whimp. He never runs away from a fight, but that doesn't mean he actually fights either. And he's afraid of a lot of stuff, or at least it seems so. Now don't let this fool you. Yugi is a powerful duelist in his own right (Yami is better, though), as he was taught by his Grandfather who is a master of the game. Actually, Yugi lives with his Grandfather in an apartment type thing above the game shop his Grandfather owns called Turtle Games (the building looks like a mushroom ^_^). Yugi has been friends with Tea since the begining of the show, and lots of people foresee them getting together (personally I think Tea has a crush on Yami, and not Yugi...not that there is THAT much difference). Yugi stood up to a bully for Joey and Tristan, and told them that he considered them friends, and then they became as tight as the threads on you shirt (which hopefully has less holes in it than my brothers or that simile just doesn't work ^_^). Yugi once wished on his millenium puzzle for a true friend, and claims that Joey is his wish come true. It's really very cute...and cheesy....but still cute ^_^. Yugi cares a great deal about those around him, and would lay down his life for them if he had too. He gets really upset whenever one of his friends or his grandfather get hurt. Did I mention this kid cries alot? Anyway, Yugi isn't as bad as some characters, and all of them do have annoying little tendancies I must admit. And watching him get teased about his height, is partial amusing. We can't hate him though, because without him there wouldn't be a show, and without a show we wouldn't have Joey-kun or Tristan-chan now would we? |
