Biography: Yami is Yugi's darker, and much cooler, alter ego. He is the one that duels for Yugi a lot of the times, and has the title the King of Games. Yami's story is an interesting one, and one that fasinates me to no end. So, here we go with a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh History ^_^. See, once the Duel Monsters cards were actually real monsters, controlled by dark sorcerers in Ancient Egypt. People dueled with these monsters, for power. But some dark evil wizard type people wanted to use their monsters to destroy the world. An ancient Pharoh sacrificed himself to seal up these monsters and save his kingdom. That Pharoh is Yami. He sealed himself inside the Mellenium Puzzle and saved ancient Egypt from distruction. Yami is very cool, and a lot more merciless and mature and masculine than his smaller counter part. He looks just like Yugi except his eyes are more angeled and he's a few inches taller (still short though). Yami can master any game in a manner of minutes, which is why he's called the king of games, and he even beat Peaguses, the guy who CREATED duel monsters in modern times. The really cool thing about Yami, though, is that he doesn't remember being Pharoh of Egypt. All his memories have been erased of that time ^_^. Neat huh? So as history is repeating itself, Yami has to come up with a way of the past repeating without him memories. I like this idea. Yami is just really, really cool, and is, as my brother so elequently put it, a "manly midgit". |
