Honda is just about the only one whose past we don't know. The only thing I can find that has anything to do with his family is when, in an episode at the begining of Battle City, he says he borrowed his motorbike from his senior. Whether he means his senior brother, his father, or his grandfather is still a topic under much debate.
General Bio
Honda is my favorite character, for the following reasons:
1- Honda is a very mysterious character. All the other characters we have seen either one member of their family, or a flashback to when they were younger. Honda is the only one that has neither, and I really want to know why.
2- Honda isn't loyal to Yuugi, but Jounouchi. While the other five are following Yuugi, he is following Jounouchi. He'll do anything for Jounouchi, his best friend, and is always there to watch his back, even though Jounouchi is all but ignoring him.
3- He has a hero complex. Honda seems to be driven by the need to be a hero, and is always out to rescue someone or something, even if the situation is potentially life threataning.
4- He dies heroically once, to save Shizuka ^_^. You can not tell me that isn't cute.
5- He has a motorbike. He and Marik would have gotten a long very well in their childhoods had things been different.
Overall, Honda is one of the most intriging and mysterious characters in the show. He can see Shadi (where Otogi couldn't), and he got farther than Anzu did in interupting the Yuugi vs Pegasus Shadow game. My sister and I firmly believe that the key to every mystery in the series is locked in a past Honda would rather forget, and if you have any information I would love to hear it ^_^.
