Crime and Punishment:

Interesting story and action, yet 700 pages too long. Watch out for those 6-page paragraphs. Yeah, those are a doozy.

Ethan Frome:

A little dull, like the season, but it does get exciting when Mattie starts knitting. Also, the whole suicide thing was pretty intense. Too bad it failed.

Heart of Darkness:

Sort of slow if you're just looking for casual reading, but if you're looking deep, it's, in my mind, the best book out there.

Jane Eyre:

I did not read this, however, it might have been good. I hear it's rather long. Let me know.

The Metamorphosis:

I originally thought this book was useless, but then I found some meaning after Judy Mac explained that this book would dramatically change our lives.

Pride and Prejudice:

Too much girly dialogue; definitely not a man's book, except good when everyone dies. Unfortunately, no one dies.

Tess of the D'Urbervilles:

Overal worst book, most interesting part was the mentioning of laurel bushes, yew trees, and evergreen oak trees. Tess, stop crying!! (Editor's note: Brian works with trees, so he knows about...well, trees.)

Their Eyes Were Watching God:

Swell book, but somewhat flowery.

A Doll's House:

No matter how hard anyone tries to victimize Nora, she is still the crazy one. She will always be the crazy one, so stop bashing Torvald!!

Death of a Salesman:

The ending really surprised me. You know, "death" of a salesman. Hmm, wonder what happens...

She Stoops to Conquer:

I never saw it as all that funny, but then again, I prefer high humor, such as the Simpsons. Hey, it was written in the 18th century.

Oedipus Rex:

A little incestual, but amusing because of the cosmic irony and the coming together of events.
